It's power 2 athletics. He's an AD doing anything he can anyway he can to raise capital because their payouts are so low and they are trying to keep pace. It's a fools errand.
That league will be something akin to the AAC as soon as their GOR comes close to an end.
They just hired a nutritionist this year. Our lacrosse program has had one for 4 years lol
They should focus more on academics due their sinking profile. Athletics just isn't it for them.

I remember the night before signing the Big Ten contract and 75% of this board figured the Big Ten would demand Rutgers to play at the Meadowlands for Ohio State and Michigan. Dolan blew that out of the water. Saying Rutgers gets to decide where they play and most didn't believe still. 11 years after and not one game in the swamp. The biggest waste of money ever. MetLife is a architectural dump. Was there just once. Unfortunately it was EL game. I'll return to watch him get up off the turf. And only then. I'd really like

Having a roof meant that under a certain temperature or precipitation level the NFL could dictate the roof be closed.

In 2009 an executive who had some role in the construction of the place came to give a talk in one of my sport management classes. First thing we asked him was why they didn't include a roof. He basically said that while the cost of the roof itself wasn't too bad, the cost of ongoing maintenance was too high. I believe I have read something about some other stadium that has a retractable roof that is no longer used for the same reason, so perhaps it's not an unreasonable explanation. The stadium still sucks either way though.
