What percentage do you give Oregon to beat unc?
I think the guard play for Oregon will be equal or maybe better than unc, but can Oregon handle unc down low is the big question.

Im scared to death of them. Dorsey and Brooks are studs and if they are hot they can beat anyone

Just better hope Jordan Bell doesn't foul out. I think they will miss Boucher the most this game. I just don't see how they can guard Justin Jackson. Dillon Brooks and Dorsey are going to have their hands full. But Go Ducks

Oregon has shot lights out in every big game this year! Blowing out really good teams What makes you think they won't here! But the last 2 games I've said UNC will lose and they won so I'll say they win this one and see what happens..I think gonzaga matches up well either way rePeat ??? Lmao I would die

They shouldn't even been here Arkansas should have won that game had it not been for a few bad calls in the last minutes and flat out choking

I think Oregon lays an egg against the holes. They can't play with UNCheat down low. Especially if the game isn't called tight and it appears when the holes are on the floor the whistles are swallowed

I'd be surprised if Oregon wins this game. UNC has been there before and can taste it. Oregon I think is just happy to get there. Different mindset- they got over their hump of last year getting to the final four. UNC wants revenge on the championship. I'd take unc in a high scoring affair by 11-15pts to be perfectly honest.

Oregon will have a tough time vs the holes unfortunately. Just gotta hope Gonzaga can beat South Carolina. The Zags I feel is our only hope. They have a Big Guy down low that I feel could go toe to toe with Meeks

I think UNC should be favored, but Oregon could definitely win this game. They're a very tough team to guard and Jordan Bell is so great defensively that he's able to make up for the lack of size elsewhere on the roster. If he gets in foul trouble, UNC will have no problem with them though. I definitely don't see this game as a blowout, it will come down to the wire.

I think it will take a small miracle for Oregon to win. They don't seem to have much of a bench and it would be crazy if Dorsey can continue his hot shooting in a football arena, but I am hoping he does.

Since UNC is already in the Final Four.. I almost want them to beat the Ducks, then lose a heartbreaker in the Championship game, for the 2nd year in a row.

Seems like every team that wins it all has one of those games where they could or should have lost. Tar Holes have had 2. Hope I'm wrong but I think Tar Holes cut down the nets. It would be a fitting end for both them and Duke, because with every thing Duke and its fans have gone thru this year, why should we expect anything different?

I'll take a Pryzemek Karnowski half-court heave at the buzzer for the win. It'd be just as sweet as the last two title games!

LOL! Ah yes, gone are the days when Oregon was a scrub school, because they knocked us out, now they are human juggernauts. UNC by 10-12, easy.

Why in college basketball do we preemptively worry about foul trouble, but the conversation never comes up during NBA playoffs? Is it the sub par officiating in the NCAA?

It only taking five fouls in college compared to 6 fouls in the NBA to foul out of a game is a huge difference and much more of a concern at this level.

I would bet a substantial amount of money on at least one of the following things happening, and likely both:
1. Jordan Bell and Dillon Brooks get in early foul trouble, and battle it the entire game.
2. Dorsey, who has been great in literally every postseason game Oregon has played, will struggle to get anything to go.

Is that toe to toe or big mac to big mac. LOL I believe Meeks still can put away more big macs than the big boy from the Zags

5 fouls in 40 minutes and 6 in 48 minutes both amount to 1 foul per 8 minutes. I'm all for going to the NBA format of quarters and upping it to 6 fouls, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

No way Oregon wins. Like someone said last night...UNCheat will get 6 early fouls on some scrubs and Oregon will have 6 fouls on role players. The final foul count will be UNC 14 Oregon 19. UNC will win by 8 and those douche nozzles on THR will still ***** about the poor officiating. UNC will win it all and come June the 05 & 09 banner will come down.

If Oregon is on then they win in a close one, but if they're not its going to be a blowout.

If Oregon is making shots (duh) they'll have a shot. Brooks and Dorsey are legitimate college basketball stars. I worry about their depth up front. We saw how Kentucky was taken out of the game the first 20 minutes. That happens Saturday and Oregon will not be able to recover like UK did.

With Boucher out, Brooks has assumed the 4 spot for Oregon. Does anyone else think this Oregon team looks very similar to a Duke team that defeated Carolina twice? This isn't an exact comparison, but here's the 7-man rotation

Dillon Brooks - Jayson
Tyler Dorsey - Luke
Jordan Bell - Amile
Dylan Ennis - Frank
Payton Pritchard - Grayson
Casey Benson - Matty Ice
Kavell Bigby-Williams - Harry

I would still favor Carolina, certainly. But, let's not forget Joel Berry is playing with two bad ankles. Oregon will have many opportunities to exploit the Heels on offense. Dylan Ennis and Payton Pritchard should be able to penetrate at will when guarded by Berry. With the exception of the Butler game, he's had a fairly pedestrian tournament. I expect Carolina to win, but I think Oregon is very, very capable of winning.

Imo it has a lot to do with coaches and players purposely playing matchups and strategy to not pick up key fouls. Most teams are so good on offense they'll just give up some easy one to avoid fouling. That and the refs are more savvy, in that they go out of their way to protect the stars, and the stars know it

Sooo you thought Kansas could have beaten UNC but the team that beat Kansas has no shot? Makes sense.

I think Oregon has a shot, but KU would have had a better one. As we've spent the last week plus discussing, matchups play a vital role when it comes to the tournament. We beat South Carolina more than they beat us and KU beats Oregon more than the Ducks beat them.

However, like you, I do think people are selling Oregon short. That said, them being short is one of my biggest concerns. Sure, Jayson isn't a natural four, but he is a very good rebounder....is Dillon Brooks? People forget Josh Jackson, KUs most versatile player, barely played the first half. If Brooks doesn't play much the Ducks are cooked....both literally and figuratively.

How does it work literally to cook a duck? Slow roast? 325 for an hour depending on the size? Basting as you go? Let me know the recipe. Love duck.
