Go cry at home

I understand being happy that your team won, and it's not Tottenhams fault, but it came in the most disgraceful way - and Tottenham fans should come together with the rest of the footballing community (commentary from pundits and fans of multiple rivals as well) in demanding improved and more transparent refereeing. "I've seen us jobbed by the refs many times, it happens" - that's the thing, it shouldn't happen. Gloating just makes you look like a douche.

Who gloated? Saying COYS!!! Is being happy my team got the three points. Sure the offsides was wrong, who claimed otherwise?

First you call me shameless, now you call me a douche. Real classy. All for a simple COYS!!!!

Yes, Spurs fans have generally been shameless thus far and players as well, as evidenced by that tweet by Romero. There is a wider issue in the quality of officiating, that is today seemingly being acknowledged by every rival other than Tottenham fans.

Further, I wasn't even responding to you. Are you the same person as RUevolution36? Calm down. Will be glad to see you at Anfield.

No I am not rurevolution

But you quoted my COYS!!! and said I was shameless for celebrating. Then you directly quoted my “it happens”
reply and said douche.

I am totally calm. And I was shocked we got the result, and fully expect to get spanked in the return match. Liverpool is a great team year in and year out, there is no questioning that. Only City is better in the Premier League.

But what Big Ange has done to transform this team in a few months after the Conte, Nino, and Jose disasters is miraculous.

I would have been very happy getting 4 points from our ManU, Arsenal, and Liverpool matches, getting 7 is amazing.

I'm in the camp that says you can celebrate your team winning even if the ref makes 100 mistakes.

Did I ever say that the call was a good one? **** happens. We've been robbed by bad officiating before too. Like when jota tried to decapitate skipp with his boot...

Romero's tweet was just giving his Argentina teammate some stick.

Good win for Chelsea on the road. This follows a cup win too.

Nice fight back by Chelsea, down 1-0 on the road, now up 4-1 over Burnley

I know it's Burnley but Chelsea starting to turn it around. Lots of good performances last 2 weeks. Our conversation about Poch feeling it 2 weeks ago was premature on the anti-Poch side.

Three good wins in a row I believe.

I am not Anti-Poch, luv what he did for Spurs.

Tough start had fans on him, looks like they turned it around.

Surprised no one mentioned Newcastle’s performance in the Champions League.

Watching West Ham vs Newcastle, West Ham is a nice team, but Isak from Newcastle is a special player, definitely one to watch.

Was bummed City won another title. Great team and everything, but I hate seeing one team dominate and Arsenal came so close...

Poch- any interest in coaching a certain men's national team (I will keep trying for this)....
I read a rumor somewhere that part of US Soccer’s ridiculous capitulation to satisfy the USWNT, the salaries for the coaches of the men’s and women’s teams are tied in some way, which is why we end up stuck with a guy like Berhalter instead of a world class.

If it were possible to hire anyone who could possibly take the US job, Pep is the guy to go after because he will be done with City soon and he loved the year he spent living in NYC a while ago.

As a Liverpool fan don't love Man City winning the PL again - but Arsenal did it to themselves down the stretch, just like we did. Never had experience with Arsenal as the "banter" fan base, but had a few interesting unprovoked experiences while traveling the past few months so no love lost...

I mean I would take Pep over Poch. But I was trying to be realistically unrealistic, if there is such a thing.

They did? They dropped 8 points since January. Won their last 6 which included Spurs, ManU, Chelsea. And they drew City in March. To me this is a story about City's excellence not any fault of Arsenal.

Don't get me wrong, it was always about being able to keep up / ahead of City. Just saying that Arsenal wasn't able to do that in the end and were left hoping for a City loss on the last day.

They only needed City to tie to win the title on GD, assuming an Arsenal win.

Arsenal lost all margin for error in the Christmas season (took 1 of a possible 9 points against Liverpool, West Ham and Fulham), then Villa finishing the double killed them off.

City may have trouble getting started some years, but once they get going they just don’t unexpectedly drop points like their challengers do,

Two sides of the same coin. City did what they needed to do. Arsenal played it safe and hoped that it would be enough.
The match was at the Eithad. Is there is a manager, anywhere in the world, who would not happily take a draw there? I doubt it.

Arsenal was ahead of Man City when that game began, and they were ahead when it ended. Arsenal then proceeded to close out the season 8-0-1. It wasn't good enough. Nothing left to do but tip your cap.

Now it appears that Ten Hag will stay at ManU. Winning the FA Cup might have saved his job.

Not a whole lot of better options to choose from at the moment at that level. Looking like Bayern may have to settle for a relegated Burnley coach (Kompany). Winning the FA Cup allows the ManU brass to save face keeping Ten Hag.
