Not sure who controls the accounts of CFBTalkDaily or SickosCommittee. Seems Nathan is a disenfranchised Gophers fan. PJ Fleck was tending on X. Not sure why all the negative posts on X--they won. 🤷‍♂️
So you get your facts from X?? What a turd 🤣🤣

Kansas is very undisciplined. Lots of penalties, especially personal fouls. UNLV gets a pick early in second half and drives for TD. 28-17 Kansas.

2 penalties on a punt play alone. 14 penalties for 176 yards early in the second half for Kansas.

UNLV scores another tuddy.
Maybe I should go back to sleep.
I'm a little surprised at the lack of discipline by Kansas with a ton of stupid penalties. . . and their strutting around on every single moderately good play. Thought Leipold ran a tight ship?

Lots of soft stuff getting called for personal fouls, while overlooking obvious holds. The facemask they called 2 series ago was a real head scratcher.

I guess I'm not paying close attention. Heck, I'm not minding the play by play announcer, who has developed a soothing tone to her voice as the game has gone on. 😌 Almost a lost fumble there by Kansas.

I wish they'd stop talking about Tulane's defense. They play in the freakin Sun Belt conference. Put that D in the B1G and they're not even Top 50.

It seems like there are a lot of the top G5 teams playing 6-6/7-5 P5 teams in bowl games and getting spanked. G5 conferences not exactly making there case why they belong.

Saw this 2nd half coming from a mile away. Tulane loses QB1 in the 2nd Q and then the rain REALLY starts at the half (see: MSU). VT's OL simply imposed their will in the 2nd half (as did their D for the most part).

Greg needs to book the charter to LA for Monday of game week. We need all the rest and time change **** out of our systems by game day. This guys have SPEED on O holy ****!! I still think they're not gonna know what hit them defensively, in conference play, but eye-popping speed!

VT turned out to be the real deal. Just ask Tulane.
Meh. I watched the entire game:

1) Tulane isn't nearly as good as advertise....going 11-2 in The Sun Belt had them finish only 1 spot ahead of RU in Sagarin

2) Tulane's starting QB going down int he 2nd, for the game, was a crusher

3) light rain in 1st half turned into heavy rains at half and continued through the 2nd. HUGE advantage for Tech as their OL and D just imposed their collective wills in the 2nd.

...still think we beat them in Blacksburg come September.

I didn’t watch the game but I thought Tulane’s starting qb Michael Pratt sat out in prep for the draft. Also Willie Fritz is off to Houston.

I don’t think you can read much into these bowl games with players and coaches sitting out. Between that and the long layoff it’s quite different from the regular season. They’re just exhibition games to watch for fun.

You're right, my bad, it was QB2 who got injured in the 2nd. Thank you.

VT will be a VERY tough game for us next year at their place.

I think they will be fine offensively. OSU before this year was really the only offense comparable.

I think Oregon Washington and USC will be 3 teams who are capable of having productive offenses in the B10. But all three will be breaking in new qbs next year.

As someone who likes to put a little money on games when teams I support aren’t involved, this bowl season has been mostly a “pass” except for a few matchups where I feel big changes to the lineups shouldn’t matter.

One was USC last night. I knew nothing about their starting QB except that he had to be good to be on their depth chart at this point. Teams looking to draft Williams should notice last night’s game very carefully. Williams had a huge speed advantage at WR he won’t have in the pros, and a lot of the plays he made took longer than he is going to get against NFL pass rushes.

Oklahoma has been dominant in stretches of this game, but they keep turning it over. They let Arizona hang around and now AZ is ahead.
