How do both miss two PATs?

Didn’t watch so I don’t know what happened in either case.

We have two types of players, stupid or oft injured. 4th and 1 and Hyatt runs a 1/2 yd. pattern.

That’s the most 2023 Giants way to lose a game. I won’t put the 2 pt conversion on Barkley, that was an awful throw from Taylor. But Saquon dropped an easy one in the final drive. He’d probably still be running.

I hope Sterling Shepard is finally done.
For every good play, he has a couple boners - "net negative" as Met crew like to say
Glad they lost anyway

The 2 pt conversion was a miss fire by Tyrod. But KM most likely catches it.

Not that pass.

Sack total now at 80 for the season. Many will disagree, but the top draft target is OL.
So true.
Alt from Notre Dame or Fashanu from Pedd St. should do.

If u look at Barkleys numbers today they were not very good. He had a few key drops as well. Wonder what they will do with him? I believe if they tag him again the price will go up. Don’t think he’s worth it anymore

2nd franchise tag is 120% of the 1st tag.

It would be about $12m guaranteed in 2024 for Barkley.

Hopefully,they're scheduled for a 1PM Sunday game.
The track shouldn't have to cancel its lucrative Saturday Night for a 5-11 team.

Read a recent article that made sense to me. Can't keep using high draft picks on OL without first fixing the main problem.....which has been the relative inability for coaches to develop the individual players into a cohesive unit.

We all saw first hand what a quality OL Coach did for RU this season. IMO the Giants need to overpay for a top notch OL coach...then go from there.

Again…for what seems like the 10th year in a row.

Remember “The Suburbanites” from the 86 team? No stars, but they played well together.
If I’m not mistaken, no team has drafted more OL with high picks and spent as much money in free agency on the OL as the Giants over the last 10 years. Wtf
Giants fans of a certain age should remember John Hicks from tOSU.

Horrendous 2nd Down run call to Barkley with no timeouts.
I’ll take Monongai over Barkley all day.
Could have caught both passes
So many mistakes. One more, and one that worried me the moment that it happened, was Taylor spiking the ball after his last run to the 34, thereby giving the Giants only 2 downs instead of three to get closer to the goal posts.

When Taylor slid there were over 50 seconds on the clock and there were even 42 seconds left after he spiked the ball. Enough time for three plays, or at least to try. In fact, it was the Rams who stopped the clock with a timeout immediately after the Giants two yard loss on first down. There was no reason to spike it and surrender a down—unless they were unprepared, which is a whole other problem.

So many mistakes.

Giants with only two Pro Bowl players - Lawrence and Saquon.
I thought Bobby Okereke would make alternate at least

I also dont get how Saquon is NFC starter with 917 yds and 4 TDs and McCaffrey is only an alternate with 1,495 yds and 14 td (and double Saquon's receiving stats).

Fan voting I imagine

McCaffrey, Swift, and Williams are the NFC PB RBs. Barkley didn't make it except as alternate. McCaffrey is the starter.

The Pro Bowl has become a joke anymore. It’s more of a popularity contest with fans.

Tiki retired too early. His last 5 years were tremendous. One more year of that and he would have been a shoo-in for the Hall. Now he's out. Tiki had dreams of the post-playing career that Michael Strahan later got, so he retired and almost immediately f***ed it up. And now most Giant fans can't even stand him, and he doesn't get the Hall. If Tiki ever gives you career advice, don't take it.

Just ask all the "have to draft OL before a QB" a simple followup:

Ok. What OL are you drafting at #5?
LT: Not replacing Thomas
RT: Replace Neal already after 2 years? OK sure. But you are again drafting a LT to play RT with a high pick.
C: Replace 2023 2nd round pick JMS already? With a Top 5 pick now?

It's easy to say "OL only" without any actual recommendations.

Is there a potential franchise G available like Nelson was?

I will never criticize any athlete, much less a football player, for retiring too early. Regardless of the reason.

At #5 JC Latham the starting ORT from Alabama. Generally considered a Top 10-15 pick in the draft. Move Neal inside. In the 2nd or third there are OTs at the college level that are expected to move inside. Graham Barton of Duke and Cooper Beebe from Kanas St. And I believe Donovan Jackson from Ohio St. played OG.
