Totally agree with that. It's just being pragmatic and appropriately cautious. And it's a non-ideological viewpoint.

The IRA actually has a lot of good stuff for the oil and gas industry in it. They’re loving the CCUS, Hydrogen and rare earth tax credits. And those are huge for domestic job creation.

Being old enough to have been aware of both as they happened, I really think you have to separate the two. The CIA working against Nixon, shall we say, lacks a certain credulity, though with his paranoia Nixon probably believed it. 50 former intelligence officials releasing a letter saying Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation when at least some of them, if not all, knew that was ******** is troubling. And I say this has someone who voted in 2016 and 2020 for every office but President. So don't reply, not referring to you Mild, with any MAGA ******** accusations.

Think about the circumstances of the laptops discovery. The laptop of the crackhead son of one candidate is found weeks before the election by the alcoholic attorney of the other candidate.

All well and good.

Just don’t jump the gun until we’re ready to support going a completely different way.

The hydrogen stuff is interesting.

More than weeks. More than Bannon. And, I'll say up front this is speculation, how many of them really investigated and reached an informed conclusion as opposed being told by a few "Hey, we're going to stick it to that ******* Trump, sign this"?

1. It was 11 months before the election
2. Bannon didn’t find it, the contents were shared with him

It became public knowledge in October 2020 when Rudy brought it up 3 week before the election. The shop owner could not give a straight story on how he even came upon the laptop.

If this was made public on December 2019, perhaps it would have been a different candidate for the Dems as Biden was trailing big time.

I lean towards “get this email together and I’ll make you Secretary of State.”

True. Point being the FBI knew it was legit long before it became public.

I don’t think it’s going to work like that. This is going to take decades to do.
Saying all stoves in new construction residential multiple dwellings must be electric is not moving at a snail’s pace.

Why not do like we do for Mt. Laurel stuff…set a few aside to be really green and see what happens.

The problem there is carbon lock in. Once people have bought appliances, builders have put in the piping, it becomes really difficult to make changes. It makes more sense to build new structures with less carbon infrastructure rather than get people to replace existing stuff. My house was new in 2018 - I won’t be replacing the appliances for a while, as it makes no economic sense to do so (especially as you consider the emissions from making stuff).

Compelling new structures to be to be low carbon, both prevents the carbon lock in and enables appliance manufacturers to scale their low carbon appliances to reduce costs of production.

I haven't paid any attention to Hunter or his laptop because it's never been relevant to anything meaningful. And I don't see how that could relate to claims the CIA was or is targeting Trump.

I'd point out that what former intelligence officials do is not the same as what the CIA does. Active CIA personnel are extremely unlikely to put anything on paper for the general public unless it's been approved by the agency. And also extremely unlikely to put anything on paper that is political.

Whereas former CIA personnel are permitted to freely publish their opinions, subject to rules and oversight, on non-sensitive topics including politics. But again, that's not the CIA doing anything. That's civilians having opinions.

Seeing as how President Trump spent a lot of time publicly insulting the intelligence community, I'm not the least bit surprised that former intelligence personnel (from multiple agencies) dislike the man or that many such people are happy to broadcast their opinions.

People can't go through life broadly demonizing others and expect to be treated very kindly by those he demonizes. That's not targeting. It's fair play. Treat others as you would have them treat you, is a good rule for us all, including presidents.

What rentals let the tenant buy or choose the appliances?

You get what you get.

You need to actually learn the facts of this..of course we told you long ago
Translation: Bac wishes everybody would adopt the same misinformation he adopts and arrive at the same unprovable conclusions as he does.

2,708 days without a single deep state conviction. That has to hurt a little, Mr. Memos. 🙂

You know what IS a fact, though? Trump and Hunter got convicted in courts of law. Everything else is BS.

The only part I would've played in any conversation about Hunter or his laptop would've been making fun of people breathlessly shouting about it. It was meaningless when it first came up. It was meaningless all this time. And it's still meaningless.

But hey, at least you can be happy Hunter got convicted for breaking the law, right? Woo hoo! 🤣

Thankfully, our great American justice system doesn't distinguish between the powerful and wealthy and all the rest of us. Amirite? 😉

Bac does great work breaking down NCAA bball teams, but is otherwise straight-up conspiracist nutter. A perfect example of the problems with siderism.
True. But I still love him.

You gotta respect someone who cares so much and sticks to their guns no matter the overwhelming and immense weight of evidence to the contrary. That has to be hard sometimes, right?

And, one of these days, odds are that he's going to wind up being right about one of the conspiracy theories. Just a matter of time. When it happens, I'm gonna be super excited for him. Be kinda like the RU fans cheering for Aiden Terry when he gets on the court and scores. How can you not love someone like that?

Cracky's laptop from hell is meaningless? It was central to the evidence that got him convicted lol.

Yeah it is, considering how many more existing homes there are.

Not sure what the big deal is. Not like electric stoves are some new, unproven technology.

They’re actually quite good and don’t leak CO2, methane or CO into your home - which reduces health ailments, asthma and other respiratory ailments. And they don’t blow up the block.

Are you talking purely new construction or homes currently using nat gas? New construction is no big deal. For families currently using natural gas it IS a big deal. And I'm amazed I'm not one of the millions killed by my gas stove. I've even struck a match and not blown up the entire condo building.

Yep. I always preferred gas ..mostly just because it was easy for alcohol burn-off when cooking ...but have been using electric for a good 20 years. No issue.

I think the rules were for new construction. My apartments in Texas were always electric. Im not supportive of forcing people who have gas stoves to go out and buy new ones (and it’s politically stupid).

Huh? Weird take. Hunter’s conviction is meaningless.

Actually, it’s mostly meaningless. Because Hunter’s conviction, along with Trump’s, shows that our justice system is functioning as it should. The wealthy and politically connected are no exception.

All Americans should be happy to see that.

I doubt there would ever be a law requiring households to swap out their gas stoves. However, there could be case for requiring the swap when it comes time for replacing the stove.
