OT: Best concert you have ever been to?

I was there. Went down the night before and partied all night. The show was in the afternoon (2:00?) but the crowd crashed the gates and knocked over the perimeter fence about 6:00 AM. People were climbing up the sound towers and they were getting pelted with bottles and stuff.
Good times.

- Pearl Jam, Berkeley CA stadium
- Hootie and Toad TWS playing together when they were both at the height of popularity at a hillside venue overlooking Santa Barbara.
And this next one maybe more controversial than Schiano’s return…
- Taylor Swift a couple of weeks ago In LA. Holy Hell does she know how to work a crowd that adores her.
I was in Macon a few years back and I went to The Big House, the Allman Brothers Museum. They had old concert posters all over the walls and this was one. Also had one from a show at Roosevelt stadium.
Saw the kickoff show for The Eagles The Long Goodbye tour last night at MSG. They were excellent and so was Steely Dan even though Donald Fagen doesn't quite sing like he used.

1974 "Mountain" - Capital Theater Passaic NJ
1977 Germany, Bavaria, Nuremberg, Nazi Party Rally Grounds, Zeppelinfeld. Outdoor all day concert Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Small Faces and many others I don't remember all of them, Rolling Stone magazine photographer was on stage on a ladder photographing the crowd while I was photographing the stage. Magazine came out and I was like Hey, heres his pic heres mine mirroring each other.
1978 Billy Joel in Stuttgart Germany 750 seat theater, I jumped up on stage banging on the piano opposite BJ until two guerillas took me off stage.

Justin Timberlake at Mohegan sun. Great showman.
Saw Springsteen and U2 at MetLife. Great shows but the large stadium thing doesn’t hit me like a festival or an indoor arena.
