3rd natty in 10 years
Great program, but 2 questions remain

1. Why aren’t they a feeder for Monmouth? Schools are 15-20 minutes apart, though it’s a step up it isn’t big 10 level

2. Why doesn’t anyone go to games? Collins arena is a great venue for a community college, it’s a winning program and I’d reckon the prices are dirt cheap

They are not a junior college division I or junior college division II program, they are Div III, which typically does not even send players to lower division one four year schools.

As 80RU said. They are not at the level of sending players to D1. Brookdale does have nice programs, baseball, women's soccer were very competitive. But these kids are playing at this level for a reason. Don't fit academically or athletically are maxed at NCAA D3 level. And NCAA D3 usually doesn't cater to academically challenged athletes.

I worked in the tv studio for a bit during a championship season, they're way too small..on the women's side, they had a center on one of their nattys that's now a Jersey City firefighter..baseball and softball puts out some D1 folks

Do they still refer to Brookdale College as the UCLA of Monmouth County, the university closest to Lincroft Acme?

When I lived in Middletown I always found that one to be clever. 😀

Frosh yr on “b” team we were headed to Brookdale to play our first college baseball game. We’re hootin & hollerin on the bus and folks were saying we’re going to go down & kick their butt. Wait til RU gets to town. That sort of thing.

Til one guy stops and says, “guys guys guys. We don’t know how good these guys are going to be. All we know is they can’t READ”.

He was right. They swept the doubleheader and it wasn’t close. We weren’t so cocky next time out.

Our neighbors back in NJ son did it.

Got his AA at BCC and took his RU courses there also.

Every major not available for a kid but some are.
