When they say to evacuate all these people, ya gotta wonder where they are actually going to. Many of them I’m sure have no other home to go to This is worse than the fires in Hawaii and those people still have nowhere to go
Water, no water, winds pushing flames at 80 mph is unstoppable. Mother nature will win until the winds die down.
It is quite fascinating that with all the technology and abilities we have to wage war on foreign soil we seem helpless when it comes to things like this.

as the details come out it’s almost criminal what has or has not been done to that area regarding fires and water.
agree the incompetence is almost criminal and these people need to be removed immediately. hate to have it happen this way but maybe now those people that live there finally wake up and see that they have bad leaders there and make changes.
Would you use this witness account in a trial? The video has an obstructed view of what is burning behind the wall. The author does not describe the arsonist, what they ignited, how they ignited it, or how long ago it was ignited. He also has no idea if there is water to put it out. Pure speculation on annything other than that a fire exists.
I don't understand the point of your question. That aside, do you know who Andrew Huberman is? He is a Professor of Neurobiology & Ophthalmology at Stanford Medicine, has an influential and massively popular podcast with millions of followers. Did you see his follow up that said more on this later? Don't think someone this prominent is going to risk his reputation posting something shoddy. Did you want him to be 5 feet from the fire and the people who lit the fire?
So true and trump said it in 2018 right in front of newsome and jerry brown and he warned them again as recently as this past September. Put political affiliation aside , people need to listen and focus on the important things .

The more videos I see, and I hear about the 100 mph winds, not just 40 mph winds, and the blame game just sounds so hollow.
Is it ridiculous that they don't have enough water, despite a new reservoir project being approved 5 years ago? And does it look terrible that the Mayor cut the fire fighter budget and was on vacation when the fires broke out? Yes, completely.
But the stuff I'm seeing would require an army of fire fighters and an ocean of water to extinguish.
She could have doubled the budget and it wouldn't have stopped these fires.
I don't think her decisions were the right ones, and that does deserve criticism, but nothing she could have done would have stopped this.
You are right that it would not have stopped the fires completely - but there were hundreds of structures that were just left to burn with Fire personnel forced to just watch. . Not having water for your firefighters will do that. Those are facts - Massive government incompetence.
