I didn't think any white dudes for Harris still existed.
It must be so embarrassing to be a Democrat nowadays. 🤣
31 point swing in Fort Worth TX State Senate election. Feeling pretty good today. As for the party breakdowns in that election, it wasn’t like Republicans didn’t show up. Democrats voted at about the rate that you would normally expect. Independents broke heavily away from the Republican candidate, and some Republicans voted for the Democrat. Keep telling yourself that everything is OK. If we stay on the same political trajectory we are on now, Republicans are going to get absolutely murdered with independents this November.

Yawn. Enjoy 3 more glorious years of Trump. Then 8 for JD and then 8 for Marco. Good luck with your next impeachment attempt. It's all your loser party has. It's a Red country boy.

California has the fourth largest economy in the world. The AI summary says Texas and Florida have had slightly better short-term growth than California recently, but California has the greatest potential for steady long-term growth. Compared to other states California has actually had very good governors in terms of general economic growth for a couple of decades - Schwarzenegger, Jerry, Brown, and now Newsom. Some of the old heads here probably remember Jerry Brown as Governor Moonbeam, but he was actually a budget hawk his entire career.
Thank God President Donald Trump is stepping in to fix the neglect by Newsom and Lightfoot to rebuild the Palisades. You would think the fourth largest economy in the world would help it's own citizens.

Jeff Jackson, AG out of North Carolina seems like one of the more level headed,- understanding compromise is necessary - candidates the Democrats could offer that would appeal to both sides...or so I thought.

He was quietly building a decent following on social media that wanted to see him make a run for office.

Then he voted for the Tik Tok ban (his reasoning for doing so proved to be correct - so the hate he took for it was liberals over reacting) and his support vanished overnight. Typical of the left. They cannot get their **** together on a consistent vision.

That said, Im sure as **** not supporting whatever the hell is happening with the GOP right now. Someone needs to bring them back to the right.

Im hoping someone like Jeff Jackson can regain their platform. I admit I dont know his opinion on every subject - but those that I have heard him speak on seem genuine and logical. Precisely what we need amidst a sea of political theater.

Commercial building in Texas is nearly double what California has been the past two years.

Let...what sink in? I see a lot of problems facing our country right now. I cant turn around without someone I know losing or beginning a fight with cancer.

I am not however besieged on all sides by immigrants trying to...idk...do a crime to me? Regardless of what hyperbole you'd like to spin.

I know it shatters your belief system and thats a very fragile thing for many of you. But you've officially gotten to the point where you're agreeing that we cant be armed while protesting. That is NOT the GOP.

You can stand with em. Im not.

Everyone is welcome to whatever political views they have. BUT I'm a strong believer that you don't mix business or your job with your politics. Anything or person that wants to serve the general population should stay neutral. Why alienate any part of the public?

That also applies to popular entertainers or movie stars. If you want to alienate a portion of your public that's your choice BUT it's generally not a smart thing to do in your profession unless you're only in it for the politics. For example although she obviously has other talents, I greatly admire Sydney Sweeny who keeps saying politics is not her business despite all the media attempts to trap her into expressing a political view. That's smart.
Politics can be good business because in our current climate if you take a side you have 80-90 million possible customers, and in our current climate people will buy goods and services merely because of your stances...even an anti-political stance. I would say Sydney(agent) read the room and made a very good financial decision to be "apolitical", if that is possible.

No Kings rally coming in March. Will likely be double in size to the one I was at last fall. I urge you to take a look at the vote in Tarrant County, TX. It has been trending toward the Democrats, but still votes for Republicans, more strongly at the local and state level. As Republican politics becomes more insular and toxic, and they lose more races, like the one in Texas, it will be increasingly easier for the Democrats to recruit suitable politicians to run in these areas. Democrat have suffered in a lot of parts of the country because they are perceived to be unreasonable or out of touch. The perception of a normal voter is one thing, but when they see utter lack of reason with their own eyes on a daily basis from the other party, they’ll begin to overlook the perception of it from the Democrats.

What exactly is Western Society? America is a country of social experimentation and always has been. There are many societies and places where people live in different ways in our country. And that’s as it should be. Cowboys, farmers, ski bums, sports fans, movie nerds, the list goes on. We don’t fit into somebody’s cramped view of what western culture is supposed to be.

Mostly it's made up of individualism, democracy, capitalism and rule of law.

Not every country or region operates this way. Which is why western society is the best and others mostly suck.

You missed rationalism, science and trust in empirical evidence. Individualism and democracy allow the people to chose their own governance, regardless of what you might think about it.

Anything is possible. Current guy **** himself on camera just a few days ago. There are plenty of things that can happen before 2028...whomever runs it would be nice if they were young enough to not fill their diaper. The last 10 years we have not had that.
JD. Marco and Pete. All young guys ready to roll. The GOP bench is 10 deep. The Dems have a bunch of morons. Good luck.

Ah yes. The guys who openly talked **** about how corrupt they felt Trump would be, then traded in those supposed morals for power the moment it was offered.

Now thats the kind of strong willed individuals I'd want leading the next generation....

. From your posts Im guessing you voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. So, with all due respect, your judgment is a little off. If you thought a cackling word salad ***** and a walking corpse with pudding for brains could run this country and garnered your vote. But in the meantime enjoy 3 more glorious years.

Do you even...try...to touch on a single point someone made so a conversation can be had? Or is it just instinct to dive right into "this person no agree with me universally, confusing man bad!".

I dont even have it in me anymore to form a reply. What the hell am I even supposed to say this grade school **** anymore.

By all means. Start giving up inches on your gun rights, government oversight everywhere and fiscal overspending while continuing to call yourself a conservative. I'll be trying to find anyone who's willing to actually address our nation's issues, not play political theater. Should a candidate ever emerge that decides to do that again, I dont give a damn what letter is next to their name. And your complete inability to comprehend that is a clear sign we are not the same. On...so many levels.

Enjoy yourself.

I'm sure you can expound further on your shallow sound bite---please do
I don't know West Virginia's breakdown but here's NY

"There are currently 7,113 immigrants in custody of a New York jurisdiction who have an active ICE detainer, the department said.

The immigrants with active detainers have committed 148 homicides, 717 assaults, 134 burglaries, 106 robberies, 235 dangerous drugs offenses, 152 weapons offenses, and 260 sexual predatory offenses, according to DHS.

“Instead of working with us, Governor Hochul is choosing to RELEASE violent criminals from her jails directly back into our communities to perpetrate more crimes and create more victims. We are calling on Governor Hochul to commit to turning these more than 7,000 heinous criminals over to ICE,” DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said."

These governors that don't cooperate with immigration really are out there making a difference.

Only 7000 seems low but I suppose that is not counting illegals that are not in custody. I would imagine that number would double.

Facts don’t matter to these kind of folks. They want to be bent over by the invaders, it’s their fantasy.
