My country is a place where people have the freedom to live life as they want, as long as they are not harming another. The people in my country choose their own paths and don't obsess over "western civilization".
The notice in my part of the world was ICE was "visiting" mexican restaurants (natch), chinese restaurants (asian people) and vape shops (middle east folks). Violent crimes and major felonies in our area of the world are almost exclusively committed by folks that have been here for awhile and drug dealers from Detroit. So no "bad hombres" immigrants here, at least not enough to support a couple dozen federal agents roaming around the Kanawha Valley.
I doubt he is a liberal Democrat. But he is taking in information. He has his own pair of eyes and can see things. I'm a liberal Democrat and I'm sure I would disagree with him on several things. Bickering about real things that you actually believe can be useful in terms of learning new perspectives (that you may still disagree with, but now understand). Some of the folks who do not think the Dems can win the Senate are recalibrating after the beating the GOP took in Tarrant County TX on Saturday. There is not a single silver lining in the breakdown of those numbers for the GOP. There was not outsized Dem turnout. The GOP got murdered with indy voters and slipped with some GOP voters.
