I got a Blackstone griddle yesterday, a round of golf coming Sunday mid-morning, back at house in time to watch the back-nine at Oakmont and what FormerBully says later in the evening!

Since my swing has slowed due to age I bought a Krank super high cor driver. They build drivers based on swing speeds. Mine wouldn’t pass USGA inspection but I don’t see me teeing it up in an official tournament so what do I care. Gave me 25+ yards on my drives. Pisses all the guys I play with off when I actually hammer one.

I'm +22 without mine but I still feel the same way. This past Mother's Day was my first without her. That sucked, too.

What I will likely get is a steady 15mph wind with gusts up to 25mph, and probably only time to ride 25 or 30 miles because of family plans.

I hear ya, but a couple of friends of one of my kids don’t even ring the doorbell, and that isn’t because they just come inside. They quite literally stand on the porch and do nothing until one of us happens to walk by.
They won't ring the doorbell because they don't want to draw attention to themselves.

It's a Richardson embroidered hat. Nothing special, but it'll be a cool hat to wear while mowing because it's a mesh breathable hat.

It's a couple of YouTube channels. It's a guy named Spencer and he finds severely overgrown yards and mows them. He also has a pressure washing channel where he finds extremely dark concrete driveways (mainly in Arkansas) and pressure washes them.
My dad died in 2023. We were really close, but aren't a family that does much on any holiday other than Christmas and birthdays. Since he died, I spend a lot more time thinking about him around this time of year.
