I just blew through S1 of “your friends and neighbors.” Freaking fantastic!

Also started watching S1 and 2 of “Cheers” which, honestly, I probably haven’t seen since they originally came out. The writing is beyond phenomenal (mainly because it’s much more real/raw than anything we’ve dealt with in the recent past). The on-screen chemistry is stunning yeah I almost feel like the parts were originally written for each of these cast members (which I believe to be the case for John Ratzenberger).
Agree - Friends and Neighbors was really good.

F&N’was great. I started 3 new series which I had to wait week to week. Felt like the Good Old Days. Friends and Neighbors, The Last of Us and Mob Land
Enjoyed all 3

Tried to watch MountainHead with Steve Carroll and couldn’t get through 15 mins.

That was me with The Four Seasons.
White Lotus lost me early too.

It’s funny, with the Last of Us. I was a huge TWD fan and the first spinoff in the family. They lost me when each character ended up with a separate spinoff. I thought the whole undead thing was out of my system. The Last of Us, is almost as good as season 1 TWD without relying on the undead. Just a good series

Just finished season 1 of The Agency on Paramount+/Showtime with Michael Fassbender. It’s a suspense/spy show and not too much action but enjoyed it. Like the way it ended and sets up nicely for season 2 as well.

Also just started watching the reboot of Frasier on Paramount+, find it just about as enjoyable as the original show.

Love anything Michael Fassbender does. Black Bag (new movie on Peacock) is in the same vein as The Agency. I liked both a lot.

Friends and Neighbors is really great. It’s in the line of Succession and White Lotus. I thought White Lotus Season 3 started great, but kind of tailed off past around Episode 5.

Friends and Neighbors got better as the season progressed and surpassed White Lotus. John Hamm is a perfect lead and many of the supporting actors are really good.

My current ranking of recent Shows About Rich People I Hate But Still Love the Show:

1. Succession
2. Your Friends and Neighbors
3. White Lotus

Another show we watched on a whim and ended up liking is Hacks on Max. I’m always looking for good light comedies and this one fits the bill. Just started season 3 and enjoyed the first two seasons.

I think Jean Smart does a good job in it and her and Hannah Einbender have a good chemistry.

Season 1 of The Last of Us was great, season 2 lost me. They should not have followed the video game as I've read that was a big letdown for gamers and why they never made a third.

On another note, I finally watched Captain America: Brave New World. What a waste of time, it became nothing more than background noise as I lost all interest 30 mins, in.

Mobland was really good.

The Mrs and sons are big Star Wars buffs. We stumbled onto a good documentary on Prime called Icons Unearthed: Star Wars. It’s a behind the scenes chronology of the making of the first six films. Lots of interesting tidbits about the last minute plot changes. George Lucas may have been a good businessman in licensing and merchandising, but he was really fortunate thanks to his wife and editors.

Been watching the Gilded Age on HBO. It’s currently in season 3 and is loosely based on the Vanderbilts and new money vs old money of that era and lately about rich Americans trying to gain entrance into British nobility. I suppose a little bit of a Downton Abbey feel if you liked that show. I think it’s the same creator, Julian Fellowes.

Also just about done with Tehran season 3 but that’s not been released on Apple TV yet because of world events. A family member got it so I got it via them. It’s been as enjoyable as the first 2 seasons.

Ballard was excellent. Couple of Bosch cameos. I hope Amazon renews it. They have a tendency to cancel good shows.
Yeah- I’m 4 episodes in. The lead in the show has seemed to be everywhere since I first saw her on Designated Survivor. I can never quite get my head around if she is kind of hot or not. lol - good show so far

Maggie Q was also in Nikita a few years ago. She's done a lot of action stuff. This is somewhat of a change of pace.

I hadn’t heard of Ballard until mentioned here and just saw the trailer. I remember her from the Divergent movies and Live Free or Die Hard. I liked her in that one. She played the chief villain henchman (woman) role well.

I don't watch a whole lot of TV normally but will latch onto a series and try to view as I workout. Over the winter I crammed in the entire series of Lost (second time watching as I watched the originals as they debuted on ABC) while primarily spinning on my road bike. I finished Beef on Netflix which is a quick one season view. It's a mix of dark humor, drama, and plenty of unexpected turns. I'm watching Bloodline on NF now. The first half of season 1 was so-so and then my interest started picking up. I'm on season 2 now.

Watching Untamed on Netflix. "A National Parks Service agent investigates a brutal death at Yosemite National Park." Eric Bana as the main character. Not bad.
