Planes, Trains and Automobiles . That is number 1

Scent of a Woman - when Pacino shows up tanked to Thanksgiving Dinner - a scene that plays out at tables across the country!

PTA is the best, by far.

Others that immediately come to mind:

*Hannah and Her Sisters was very good

*Home for the Holidays had its moments

It's a Wonderful Life used to be shown on Thanksgiving night on NBC I believe. That's how I started watching it when I was a kid.

The one with the original John-Boy actor? I think there were two Thanksgiving TV movies.
Actually, what I like was from season two of the original called Thanksgiving Story with Richard Thomas. The Waltons Thanksgiving is from 2022 with another guy playing John Boy. The former is what I meant to mention as a good one!

I would say Rocky #1, followed by Planes (Trains), Blind Side and Grumpy Old Men. Don't sleep on Charlie Brown either.

Agree on Scent of a Woman.

On PTA, I have watched bits and pieces over the years but it never grabbed me. Decided to watch last night. Hilarious for like 45 minutes then it got a bit tedious, repetitive and sappy (for me). I was thankful for fast forward.
