Jury delivers stunning verdict in fired Penn State football doctor’s trial - pennlive.com

Should help Greg on recruiting trail.
Highly doubt it. Recruits care most about their utilization/production, visibility and winning and this issue isnt going to scare top players off.

The Sandusky and Paterno matter was barely a hiccup for the program in the end. This won’t even amount to a tiny pimple on an elephants *** relative to the program.

Guilty? Franklin was no longer a party to the lawsuit, though his and others’ actions were part of the evidence, and this was an employment civil lawsuit, not a criminal trial.

Just think, if this happened at Rutgers, you would get your way and Schiano would be fired.

No, it wouldn’t get him fired here. We’re no more moral than any other program. This is professional football and all that matters is winning.

If Mel Tucker’s issue happened the year before during or just after that big season he’d still be the coach. But there were 90 million reasons to fire him after a very disappointing season

For the first time ever- sort of agree with our Cuse friend.
This is a different college sports world we live in but…schools with insane upside degrees, have been using medical retirement for years, knowing their degree is more important than football.
I think the term disqualification is what changes the game for PSU. They were trying to get out of the educatt portion of the Ship.,,
