The Ruger 10/22 Take Down is pretty bad ***...

If you've been interested, I suggest you "pull the trigger" and get one...

For people in the Golden Triangle, they have a limited edition version of this gun in Mossy Oak Break-Up at Gary's in West Point. It is a really cool piece.

Rugers are crap!!!!

I've watched every episode of the A-Team growing up and they never could hit anything with their Ruger Mini-14s. Ruger must be crap!!!

Anyone have a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22?

I have been looking at this gun for a while but don't know much about these type of guns.

I've been eyeballing one, too...

for training purposes... I had a S&W M&P15 OR and found it to be and exceptional weapon for the price...

I've also shot the Blackout in a S&W... I feel comfortable with their AR platforms...

I believe I'd like a dedicated 22 in AR versus a conversion kit... if you get one first, please shoot me a review...

I have it on my Christmas list. Hopefully Santa will repell in out of his Blackhawk and leave it under the tree.

I've got one. I've only put about 5 or 10 clips through it but I've had zero problems. I only use CCI and Federal ammo. I've read a lot of reviews that said the rifle doesn't like Winchester for some reason. I don't have mine outfitted with a scope or anything fancy like that. The iron sights work just fine for taking out turtles in a pond. At least they do for me. My 'towards' is dead on, I just need to work on my elevation at longer distances then its turtle soup for everybody.

Besides the ammo being cheap, another great thing about this rifle is that if you choose to, you can unload the clip as fast as you can work your trigger finger and never come off the target since there is virtually no recoil on a .22.

I have a 10/22 with bull barrel and 22 mite Yankee Hill suppressor. I don't have a need for take down 22. Buy a suppressor. It's a real game changer. With subsonic or standard velocity ammo, you only here the action clicking and "thump" of bullet. I use same suppressor on my Buckmark pistol with tactical solution barrel.

Ha! Didn't know the terminology so I had to look it up. I have A2 sights and there is no buffer tube since that part isn't removable on the rifle.

I am a Smith and Wesson guy....and I researched and tried the SW M&P 15-22...and others..but I chose the Mossberg Tactical 22 over the competition.

IMO there is no difference in the two guns except the names and the Mossberg is better priced!

Where did you get the suppressor? I thought those were illegal. Would that same one work on a Glock 19?

I love these threads. They remind the OM faithful that we pack more than a cowbell for that next "dropped pocket knife"**

Google world wide firearms. New owner. I bought 3 from previous owner, Donald Ray Cresswell. Have not done business with new owner. It's legal to hunt in mississippi with suppressor. Take 4-6 months for background check.
