I correctly predicted 2+ years ago that this would be the company line

Any other viruses cause long term heart problems? I've gotten the flu many times in addition to colds. Probably others as well. I don't recall my doctor telling me, "Moose, you're over this virus but in its wake you can have heart issues. You may wanna get it checked periodically". NJ has a lot of big pharma companies and thus BP employees so I sense a lot of denial and circling the wagons.

COVID attacts the CV and respiratory systems. Do yourself a favor and do some research in between cleaning up the garbage on the highway. So glad you moved away.....one less moron in NJ to deal with.

ps......how about a challenge that you take a pass on all the "BP" prescriptions and otc medications you likely take since you despise what they have developed. See how long you can go dealing without any anti-biotics etc. Next time you get a super high fever.....ride it out. Next time you need some type of procedure be sure to tell the doctor to not give you any anethesia or pain meds. Get your teeth drilled without any novacaine or lidocaine. Gotta love the hypocritical BP hating crowd.

You all are a bunch of f-ing morons. Why can't this thread just be about a kid and his family and how scary this must have been.
Quite honestly, it is something that is always on the mind of parents that have children that are athletes at this level.

Wishing all the best and hope he recovers without lifelong issues.

No. Climate change is real and the main cause is liberal policies. Dems destroyed the walkable and energy efficient cities which pushed the masses to the suburbs where they need cars.
Where to start? Just no. There were many reasons people left cities, mostly because suburbia offered cheap land, homes and green spaces and eventually all the jobs. Cities went downhill BECAUSE the middle class left, and not the other way around. And certainly liberals were not the ones pushing cars and a car-centered life on Americans, that was GM et Al.

This kind of thing is also not new. It's beyond ludicrous, but typical, for message board geniuses to diagnose a kid's heart disease.

Some guy collapsed back in 1971 so it means nothing. 🥴

Please explain the 273 cardiac deaths of NCAA athletes from '04-'08. If my math is correct that timeframe was pre-Covid vaccine.

From January 2004 through December 2008, all cases of sudden death in NCAA student-athletes were identified by use of an NCAA database, weekly systematic search of public media reports, and catastrophic insurance claims. During the 5-year period, there were 273 deaths......

This paragraph is going to take some explaining as well....

"Sudden cardiac arrest, which describes the sudden stoppage of the heart and is not the same as a heart attack, is the leading killer of college athletes, researchers from the University of Washington reported, and is responsible for about 75% of sudden deaths among student athletes who died during exercise.

All possibilities need to be considered so why does one side totally freak out about raising one possibility

A lot of people took the unknown concotion and had their families take it.
They wont wake-up until it slaps them in the face.

Top vaccinologist warns things are going to get ugly soon
Did you take one shot? Boosters?
It makes a difference

"Assuming my predictions are correct, who will be at risk and who will not?"

Jobs in in the country and not the city????? WRONG!!!!

People left the cities because of crime, litter, and bad schools. Many still commute to the city for JOBS!
At the end of the day people left. They started in the city and left because the cities were turning into crime infested ghettos thanks to liberal policies.

Cities also jacked their taxes which made it more economical to move to the burbs. Thanks for bringing up the cost point.

Cities should be cheaper not more expensive. ECONOMY of SCALE goes out the window when Dems run the show.

Why does any side need to be considered at this point until more information comes out? And even then....make your own choices going forward and deal with your own consequences..
.and if you don't like the laws or rules where you frequent or live.....fvcking stop frequenting those places or move.

People have been leaving rural areas and suburbs to move back to cities since 1950. People have done the exact opposite of what is written above.
  • "It is estimated that 83% of the U.S. population lives in urban areas, up from 64% in 1950. By 2050, 89% of the U.S. population and 68% of the world population is projected to live in urban areas."

Um no. In the 1940s and 1950s, a lot of physical plant and factories in the US was aging or too small. The suburbs offered cheap land, and lots of it, with tax breaks from suburban towns eager to grow, all next to new interstate highways. The jobs moved and people went with them. Lol I've never heard anyone try to blame suburbia on liberals but I guess to partisan hacks the other side is to blame for everything. What sad hatred. Next up, liberals are to blame for athletes foot and mosquitoes lmao.

Only 80 were from "medical causes" and only 45 were from sudden cardiac arrest.
