Big run by Sanders sparks the drive down the field for a TD. Good accurate throws in that drive. I think quicker decision making from Sanders in that drive vs other games I’ve seen.

Watch Shedeur passes for height - he throws 40 yd passes that are very low - no 30 ft.

How old do we all feel watching Deion Sanders’ kids play football against Emmitt Smith’s son, two weeks after the Sanders boys played against Jerry Rice’s son?

I saw Stanford play at Army when Barry Sanders son played there.
Of course Christian McCaffrey went to Stanford and his father played in NFL (Giants included).
Stanford seems to be the place for NFL kids

That’s got to be demoralizing for Stanford. Missed a 37yd FG.

They have some good players but overall they are a terrible team on their way to 1-5.
They are actually a nice team to play.
The band is loopy but the team and fans are classy.
They have a lot of older alumni who worked defense and tech when it was run by serious engineers who built tech foundations - no low-T coder dweebs in sneaks and t-shirts
A lot of them stayed after their Army game holding a banner saluting West Point.

Colorado's field has been horrible all season - players constantly falling
The grass is like shredded felt glued with rubber tipped mucilage glue
Not making any money for a decade probably a reason

I'm not sure I see the widsom of having a player go both ways in a first game back after a hospitalization injury with 4 week layoff. Sanders says Hunter's best position for NFL is WR and he's on fire for that that tonight but on defense he has been looking gassed

I’m starting to think the PAC-12 put side of Oregon and Washington is VERY overrated.

It’s hard to believe Colorado was ranked in the Top #15 at one point. They barely beat Colorado State and have several other close games the last couple weeks. A win is a win but this was a terrible loss.

Colorado beat "#2" TCU in Week 1, and the Media Circus around Prime instantly went into spin cycle.

Jinx wins again. As detailed above, nearly posted about Houston losing to WVU in the final seconds. Examples of why I dislike and don't post in RU game threads.

Colrado blows 29 point lead
Colorado had 17 penalties
Colorado wins coin toss in OT and Sanders elects to go on offense - SMH
I didn’t realize how many penalties they racked up but not surprising. Not sure how much that stat will improve even as his tenure goes on. There’s a level of undisciplined and emotional play and I don't know that he looks to correct it theyway he should.

Also didn’t know he selected offense in the first OT. I can’t remember who but one other team did that earlier this year too. I don’t get why in either case.

Ref threaten PA guy the CO would get unsportsmanlike like conduct penalty if they kept playing music when Stanford was about to snap ball. First half. One way to get rid of canned music!

I thought the game was over too. I didn’t in this case but if I post and it ends up being wrong, oh well lol. I woke up just as the FG went through the uprights in the Stanford win. Commotion of the game must’ve woke me up haha. I thought I was seeing things and just groggy.

Defense and OL are their biggest issues and until those get fixed with more “dogs” no team on their schedule is a given but losing after being up 29-0 is terrible. Arizona isn’t going to be easy either. They’ve been feisty. The others left on the schedule will be tough.

side note: OSU/Purdue is on Peacock today. I cancelled my subscription a few days after our game but my sub still runs through the 1 month. FYI for those like me who don’t want to worry about cancelling closer to the end of their sub. This is usually how it goes with other subs I’ve had, even annual ones.

Another one I fell asleep on and just woke up to 46-43 Stanford, goodness. 29-0 and they came back. Big loss for Colorado on their hunt for 6 wins. PAC after dark coming up again lol.
Haha I saw 29-0 and didn't bother. Wow

I still have not watched the RU Wisconsin game, as I was at the game. I regret the $39 annual subscription.

Shadur and Travis are still future 1st rd picks but let's see what happens to the bandwagon and sidline passholders.

I started out neutral on him but I’ve come around to somewhat positive on them and hope they can do well in his tenure.

I like underdog stories. He’s flashy but he also has good messages behind the flash. Too much flash isn’t my thing but I can deal with it. Problem is flash without substance is useless. I’ve said this before with regards to them. Harnessed emotion can be powerful but unharnessed can be dangerous and the team leans more into the unharnessed variety. I’m not sure Deion will ever be able to fully get it more toward controlled emotion.

6 wins (tough task for them) will be a great season in year 1. 5 wins will be an okay season but a nice first step in year 1. Staying at 4 is still positive compared to where they were in previous years, assuming they’re competitive in the losses. 4 would be a bitter pill to swallow given the start.

Shadeur was just a 3 star recruit out of HS which I didnt realize at first. He’s got a good arm and is pretty accurate with it too.

I didn’t see the second half but in the first half I thought there was improvement on the clock in his head. Decision making seemed to be much quicker. I thought he hung on too long in previous games.
