OT New Iphone and Cspire

iPhone doesn't have 4G service with cspire. Only 3G for now. Cspire won't give a straight answer as to when it will be available. I still got the iPhone over the galaxy 3 because I never had 4g so I don't know what I am missing. The main reason was my original galaxy sucked so bad. The iPhone just works. No rebooting. No apps locking up. No having to pull off the cover and take out the battery to end a call.
Maybe for some that's a big problem, but I've found that I hardly ever use data so whether 3G or 4G doesn't really matter. When you're at home, you use your own wi-fi, and nowadays in most restaurants, etc., they have free wi-fi too. About the only thing I use it for is to check the radar and stock market when I'm on the golf course. I get 2 GB/month from Verizon and hardly ever use any of it.
And that's a good thing with the iPhone
since removing the battery is basically a destructive process. I also like my iPhone; never had a problem with it ... just don't like the relatively short battery life.

I purchase the iPhone 5 and cspire told me that when apple allows them to run the phone on LTE, they will mail me a new SIM card and they will install it for me. Apple is testing different carriers LTE functionality before they allow it to run the iPhone 5 for the best user experiences. Yeah, I read that this week.
I would recommend getting it. I get 500 minutes and unlimited data for $60 a month. I was paying $110 with Verizon. I believe you can keep your current plan.
You do have to change plans unless you want to buy the phone out right. It cost about $650 to buy it outright
I have a 5 on LTE with AT&T. It's probably 3x faster. I downloaded a 2GB
Episode of Spartacus to my iPad which was tethered to the phone in 10 minutes. Hotel wifi was going to take about 9 hours. The battery seems better than my previous one as well.
i did lose my unlimited data plan though when upgrading, but work pays for it anyway. I get 5GB per month.

That's the problem with LTE and current data rates. I'm still "unlimited" with AT&T but I keep getting texts saying I'm about to be throttled.

It was an unusual case though. I needed something to watch on the plane. 99% of the time I'd just use wifi. If not for tethering, I'd never come close to 5GB on my phone alone. The new charger seems to charge much faster too, though that's also a pain, since now none of my connectors I have scattered around the house/office work with it, even the one built into my car.
Because they can't. As already stated in this thread, it's at the request of Apple that they won't say anything.
I can't believe there is no known plan to support LTE or no known decision not to support LTE. This isn't some bug that may or might not ever get fixed. This is a big damn deal and they know good and well what the answer is.
Logic says whatever the answer is must be bad for consumers. Because if there was good news, we would have heard about it.
here's my dilemma. i have a ******** galaxy and it's time for me to re-up. i'm not going to get a 4g phone because i wouldn't be able to use the plan that i was grandfathered in with and i don't want an iphone. so what phone do i get that's not 4g or apple?
