Big fan of The Fixx. Saw them in a nightclub at the Rio in Vegas in 2011. Only about 400 people attended. Didn't matter. Cy and the guys rocked the joint like it was a sold out arena.
The attendance was low because it was a midnight show on a Monday night.

Kid Rock released a new song, and he is mad at the world. Rather than post a direct link to the video, will post a story with a link to the video, but every other word is an f-bomb or a bad word. It's so cringeworthy that Weird Al weighed in:
I don't mind swearing in lyrics. Far from it. But this is just some whiny nonsense... which... in making a song complaining about millennial snowflakes... he's sounding like a millennial snowflake.
I’m tired of the predictable and certainly non creative gratuitous dropping of F bombs in music. It’s really become commercialized nonsense. The “angry artist” proving he/she has the ”hardcore attitude”. It’s really become a joke to me. You want to impress me? Don’t try so hard. Learn how to play, sing and express yourself in a higher way. If that sounds musically snobbish so be it. We all need and deserve better stuff.

It's got a good sound. Never heard of them. My home page has a feed to Alternative Press, which provides news on new music, tours, bands, etc. The lead singer of that band has a similar demeanor to Robert Smith from The Cure.
“Rolling” into “I’ve been dazed”. Michael Kiwanuka is the real deal.
Got to see them warm up for Gojira, excellent band.
Eddie Manion, saxophone player for Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, originally with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, wrote and sings this song.
i can't place it, but this reminds me of one of those radio hits from the early 90s.
