Not cool but no real harm done it is as she described. Just saying some coach speak that every coach might agree with. Kinda tells you more about the coaches who wouldn't talk to her than her. She might be messing with their jobs but so are they messing with hers by not talking to her.

Now.. if he just blew off a coach or ignored what he said and summarized it all in her own words... with different context and meaning... no bueno.

I'm not sure I ever listened to what a sideline reporter has to say - complete waste of time and money by the networks
Agree 100%. It's the most useless and unnecessary part of a broadcast. Most of the time it's just a way for the network to give a female a job and boost their diversity score. What's the ratio of male to female sideline reporters?
Next get rid of the idiotic pre game shows where 4 or 5 numbskulls sit around and fake laugh at each other for two hours. Just find a job for Alex Flanagan please.

to be fair, most questions and responses in the post game interviews and pre game interviews are just as useless.

I can even remember the last time I watched a pregame show for any sport.
Completely useless drivel in my eyes.

I do remember as a kid watching the NFL Today Show with
Brent Musberger, Irv Cross, Jimmy the Greek and Phyllis George.
Big fan of her when I was just a young boy. Found her extremely attractive.

I don't agree. When I'm watching one of my teams and a player goes off injured, I appreciate finding out his status for the rest of the game. In fact I think I was like that with one RU game earlier in the season when it appeared that Monangai got a little dinged. I was like where it the update from the reporter already? LOL

Last night they actually caught Burrow live trying to throw and then giving up in pain, couldn't even grip the ball. He ran into tunnel with medical staff, obvious he was done. About ten minutes later they cut to the sideline gal who told us Burrow was in the locker room having his hand and wrist looked at with a questionable return. Can tell by their hesitation took everything they had for Herbstreit and Al Michael to not say "NO ******* **** WE SAW IT LIVE"

My favorite sideline bimbo bit was during a MNF broadcast in Denver where Brian Griese was the starting QB. Bob Griese was on the sideline, so the sideline bimbo of course is spending time with him asking such hard hitting questions as: "Are you nervous when you're son is out there playing?" Anyway, as he's responding and the camera is on him, Brian Griese throws a pick 6 which they completely miss. They cut back to the field as the defender is crossing the 20 on route to the endzone. Brilliant!

As far as making things up whatever. Coaches say meaningless stuff 95 percent. What makes this bad is that supports the notion that sideline reporters are useless if they make **** up and no one bats an eye.

I'd imagine it's often stealth cheerleaders.

She’d fit right in at CNN and MSNBC ! 😂
LOL,
yea truth tellers might not be wanted at some other networks .
Must stick with lies and falsehoods at some TV Networks
Admitting the truth isn't what some networks want from their media personalities

Drunk Joe Namath sideline interview was memorable.
I think the best was when herbie k was faux crying on tv about his white privilege and the like

truthfully, very few of them are any good and worth listening too. I'd rather the 'ed and joe' show with two opposing fans who are slobs just busting on one another and the players. that would be more entertaining

They’ve already did that for Premier League in England years ago. Your post is barely coherent btw.

She's not really attractive but I agree with her here:

"She then explained there was no harm in anything she would say to audiences.

"No coach is gonna get mad if I say, 'Hey, we need to stop hurting ourselves, we need to be better on third down, we need to stop turning the ball over and do a better job of getting off the field,'" she continued. "Like, they’re not gonna correct me on that. I'm like it's fine, I'll just make up the report."

They would say exactly what she said they would say
Coach/player quotes in US sports are all low calorie garbage on A/B repeat.
When you listen to (say) the Tour de France interviews its like opening another dimension

I find Anthony Fucilli “Fooch” very interesting when you listen on the radio.
When the Announcers throw it to him for a comment, he sounds winded like he actually was on the field for the last play. He has been a personality for many years for RU.

He's terrible and can barely speak English.

According to scarletknights.com, the FS1 broadcast doesn't feature a sideline reporter. Mike Teel is calling the sideline on WFAN.

If you want to watch a game and say, Matt Millen is calling it, you can listen instead to Mike and the WFAN team using syncmygame.
