As Patdog said, I've done PLS twice. In short its addictive! Especially if you are competitive and like to push yourself. However, its not for everyone. You have to be ready to push yourself and work HARD. As long are you are giving full effort and have a good attitude, you will do fine. But it is tough! We had a high school kid who is a lineman for Madison Central join our group one morning for a workout (his dad was in our group); after the second station of the workout he was puking his guts up on the track. Not to scare anyone off but to point out that is will be tough.
So far I've lost 40+ lbs and am probably the best shape in 25 years (yes, I'm an old fart). During the program you are held accountable for your actions during the training sessions and your off hours (i.e., your weight and your diet). We have weigh every Thursday and if you start gaining weight, Paul will call you out on it.
Lastly, if you are offended by profanity. You may want to reconsider PLS. Paul is not shy about using colorful language (17 is one of his favorite words). However, Paul is totally committed and will push you farther that you think you can go. I'm having my knee fixed next week, but I will definitely be joining for the summer session in Madison.
