Coach says, and I quote “we’re a running team”. This is not a destination for talented passers.

Lol. I wonder if he owns a snow parka? There might be a school with a new head coach and ties to Temple. Do they have a QB on the roster for next year?

I do like how the kid plays.

I don't expect us to portal a QB. I expect a TE, a WR, a LB, an OL, and a DL. Maybe a secondary player if right one pops.
I like how he plays too.
If RU had him we would have scared the **** out of Ohio State, Michigan, Pedd State, and Iowa. 😛

Penn State with Chop Robinson would have sacked him like 6 times. Maryland lost by 35 points to PSU and little Tua ran for his life. Reggie Sutton still would have been at right tackle. Love the kid but had no mobility. Penn State had 48 sacks this year. Warner was not making a difference vs PSU.

Would’ve made a difference vs Iowa, Maryland, and maybe Wisconsin

IMO, that would be a big mistake, especially if/when Evan Simon bolts.

If Simon bolts we will have 3 QBs on the roster, which is generally what most college teams have now.

Mistake or not we are not going to spend our NIL money on a QB. We will spend it to keep a bunch of our defensive starters and KM for another year. Also keeping any contributing OL is critical.

Number 1 transfer need is a TE and number 1a is another proven LB. 2 is a disrupting DT and 3 are any proven OL we can get.

I can not say enough how our lack of TE hurt our offense this year.

Thought that early in his career, VK flashed some potential. Injured this year? Backup, maybe more development?

TEs are very hard to recruit. They are asked to do multiple things in modern days offense. They need to;
1. Block
2. Be able to beat LBs and safetys vertically.
3. Be able to physically post up inside against LBs.

We have TEs that can generally do #1 but beyond that not much. This is why we mostly saw motions outs and out routes for our TEs for small gains. Our best receiving TE was a FB/H but we had to use him as a TE.
