AC Doctors. I know the owner well. He prefers honesty to profit as a matter of principle and good business practice. Does good work and stands behind it. He has done a lot of work on my older house.

Justin Word. He is a Project Manager for a mid-size commercial GC. Justin has a small commercial/residential reno company and he did a build out for me on my bonus room upstairs. He did high quality work with quality materials and even offered design ideas that turned out to be top notch. He may not do it for everyone (his GC employer is a client of mine), but for me he line items both the material and labor cost for each piece of the construction. I was on a tight budget and this allowed me to self perform some of the prep work (insulation), painting and flooring. Helped me save about 25%. If you want his phone number then let me know.

I sell building materials to a lot of these guys and can point you in the right direction.
