Barack Obama, Hakeem Jeffries, Cory Booker, Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Gretchen Whitmer, John Kerry, Tammy Duckworth, Tim Caine, Patrick Kennedy, Deval Patrick, Sherrod Brown, Gabby Giffords, Steve Bullock ….this is an easier list for me.

good god man please do better. You are just showing your bias with most of these names. Most of them are life long politicians who have done nothing but enrich themselves. Surprised you left off Maxine Waters lol

Chris Christie? Brian Kemp? Chris Sununu? Glen Youngkin? Larry Hogan? Charlie Baker? Rob Portman? Mitch Daniels? Mike Pentz?

Then those who don't say the election was stoen. Tim Scott. Nikki Haley.

Aside from Sununu or Hogan (who is now part of No Labels) those people are not moderate. And most of them hold no office. They also support extreme positions on abortion- aside from Baker (no office) and Sununu (not running again); making it harder to vote; demonizing LGBT etc.

And it's only Christie now who is standing up to Trump. The others barely admit he lost. At any time, they could come out and say Trump is unqualified and back a single challenger to him. But they don't because the gravy train is just too good and they value that over the country.

Haley and Scott have both endorsed countless election deniers and campaigned for them.

Youngkin campaigned for Kari Lake, for crying out loud. That's moderate?

He is just trying to get back in the good graces of his cohort because he thinks they are all wrong on the vaccine. He needs their acceptance when the signal goes out to pick on numbers.

He must be going through a lot these days.

After getting paid to promote Krispy for President he now has to argue against it lest he get run over by lawnmower.

I am indeed an old civil rights guy, and they are plenty of whack jobs on the left and positions I either disagree with or think are not really worth pursuing. No question there. But the bulk of the party are good folks whose hearts are in the right place. Sadly, there are only a small handful on the right who can make that claim anymore.
Now that's just fvcked up. Here I thought you were a smart levelheaded guy, but to you almost all conservatives are bad folk who don't care about their fellow human beings. With that thinking, you must pick your friends by their political beliefs. Because you don't want discussion or dialogue, you simply want to shut down those who oppose your views.

There are many good conservatives, but they are scared to speak out because the leadership (fascist) if the GOP lashes out against any party member that doesn't toe the line they set and attacks them as viciolusly as they do any minority group that they want surpressed.
At one time disagreeing with GOP Leadership was allowed and any differences were discussed as friends, but since the leadership of the GOP
became totalitarian like under fascist guidelines no discussion is allowed .
If you are not in 10% lockstep , you are the enemy and treated as such.
I can see why someone would say:
"I am indeed an old civil rights guy, and they areack jobs on the left and positions I either disagree with or think are not really worth pursuing. No question there. But the bulk of the party are good folks whose hearts are in the right place. Sadly, there are only a small handful on the right who can make that claim anymore. "

It's the truth and any GOP member knows that if you disagree you will become an enmy of the GOP state because that state doesn't allow individual thinking.
You are part of the state and will do and say what it tells you.
So decent GOP members remain silent even if they disagree and vote for far right policies, that hurt the USA , out of fear of what the fascists controlling the party will do to them.

I'm sorry but it's hard not to notice that caring about fellow human beings doesn't seem to be high on the agenda for most conservatives. They even run down people who they think care too much about others as bleeding hearts as if its a bad thing to care about others. I don't believe conservatives are wrong about everything like partisan hacks do, though I may disagree about solutions. They have strong points and weak points like liberals and others do. But empathy is very much lacking among conservatives.

Don't worry fellas, I'm sure the reeducation camps down the road will straighten out conservatives, and those who don't conform will pay the ultimate price.

this and the movement he represents
Trump is actually more shallow and lazy and less well-thought than Hitler. Hitler was pure evil but he was dedicated and hard-working and had plans. Trump just bullsh*ts his way through everything. He's the King of BS.

Proud Boys, neo-nazis and guys who pander to them, like Trump.
As well as Antifa (and those who support them) and all colleges and their students who consistently look to shut down conservative voices....I could go on, but maybe it best we don't use Nazi analogies when they can go both ways and also cheapen the deaths of millions at the hands of true Nazis.

But tribalists like you must do their tribalist thing.

You don't know enough about Nazis to talk about them or throw the label around. Some bad features of fascism are present in other ideologies. Fascists are far from the only people who are intolerant of dissent, for example. We see that in literally every form of government. I personally vehemently disagree with attempts to shut down debate on college campuses, which can come from both directions.

But there are things that are unique to fascism or required in order to call something fascist, or Nazi, which is a variety of fascism. You don't see those on the left, you see them on the right. The left has issues and extremists but they're not fascist and mostly not communist (though there are some neo-marxists out there).

Oh FFS you can't be serious.....actually, I take that back.

I recommend you reading WIliam L. Shirer's book The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich

Warning - it's a very long read, but it's obvious you need to pick this book up.

Lol I've read that book multiple times, as well as many, many others, including Mein Kampf. I won't go into all my education or personal family experience with the issue but it's doubtless more than yours. You need to re-read.

Both sides have antisemitism, look no further at AOC and her gang. The list is long on your side.

Bac is 100% right that too many of you on the left lack any self awareness. It's incredible, it really is.

Over the last 25 years, anti-Semitism has been much more of a problem with the Far Left than the Far Right, though it exists in both groups.
