After their 1963 World Series win,several Dodgers formed a lounge act.
The entire group sang the song up to the last line.
Then the closer,Fair Lawn's Ron Perranoski,finished the song.

Ron Perranoski's sister was a subsitute teacher at my grammar school in Wayne.

Tony Bennett saw plenty of combat action in WWII which led him to become a pacifist in later life. He couldn't stand the waste of human life caused by war.

I paid my respect above. mTV Classics has been playing Tony Bennett nonstop since yesterday. I doubt they have him an hour of airplay when he was alive, except for when he sang with Lady Gaga me. 🤷‍♂️
