Tough day to do that on Mother's Day. Does Rutgers always schedule graduation on a Sunday? Odd choice of a day, but we will roll with it.

That’s true. And I think the big graduation has been on a Sunday for many years now. It sometimes coincides with Mothers Day.

Rutgers is Rutgersing all the way to the end. Parking was a cluster and nobody can give a straight answer on where grads can exit field when ceremony is over.

Congrats ! When my son graduated from Rutgers several years ago , it was a Sunday / hot and on Mother’s Day! Got a bad burn that day as well. 🥵

Just came back from a college graduation that took place yesterday (Mother’s Day). It actually was a nice occasion for the moms.

Couldn't have asked for better weather for the grad ceremony in the football stadium yesterday. Can't believe it's now 14 years since I walked at graduation.

It's a New Brunswick-wide (plus RBHS) ceremony now so they hold it in the stadium for all the graduates in aggregate. When held on Voorhees Mall, it was just Rutgers College-specific just like the other colleges also held theirs at sites across the NB/Pisc campuses.
