Ryan Day is a whining crying baby who cant understand why everyone doesn't bow down and move aside.
It will be fun to watch him fall on his face one of these days.
If he's not the most hated coach in the B1G I would like to know who is?
Im glad they beat the pompus arrogant notre dame crowd.
If its good for the B1G its good for RU.
Mel tucker And Day were tied for most hated but now Day is up there all alone with tucker gone. Franklin is sneaking up behind Day for some hatred.

I believe they only had 10 last 2 plays and aware of it on sideline.
I am NOT sure why they would allow that to happen… I could understand one play, but two plays?!?

Unless I am missing something…. Why not have one of your players take a knee or commit a penalty by jumping offsides to a least get your 11 man in.

The crazy thing is on THREE separate occasions he called Holtz out and then utters some OSU vs the world BS… “Everyone is against us”

One time with the NBC reporter just after the game, then with the B1G sideline reporter and then in the press conference.

Holtz might be a schmuck and ND homer in general, but Day is a complete and utter jagoff!!!
Day made himself look really small in that exchange

That was my thought. I was like how old is Lou Holtz!? Have some class and leave the old man alone…

Day seems like a terrible person
I hate defending Day because I can’t stand the man, but maybe if that old f*ck Holtz didn’t open his marble-filled mouth and call Day out by name, along with the entire Ohio State Buckeyes team, on national TV no less, maybe Day would have kept his equally big mouth shut!

You can’t just give the old fart a pass for disrespecting a coach and team, and go after the coach who was disrespected!

Maybe Holtz shows a little more class when talking about Notre Dame‘s next opponent!

Holtz is 86, Day should realize this and laugh. Ohio vs the world because of something some old senile guy says? LOL

The explanation is they didn’t want to take a penalty. That would address the first one but couldn’t you have substituted someone before last play?

Who cares he’s 86? If you saw the interview, you’d be pissed too if you were the coach of Ohio State. It definitely wasn’t the ramblings of a senile old man! He knew exactly what he was saying, and he should’ve kept his big fat marble mouth shut

I’ll have to watch it again, but the last play was on the goalline…. Jump offsides immediately and tackle the center before he hikes it or have the DT bat the ball out of the centers hand before it’s snapped. If he gets it off and they run the play and score whatever, but if you can temporarily kill their play and get a penalty, I think they could get the 11th man on the field. What the hell do I know.

what he said was spot on, tangible and despite the loss, proved correct for 99% of it. ND has better lines

Hey if the old man wants to open his mouth then the old man makes himself a target.

Be a nice elder statesman and you'll get treated like one. F Holtz.

Eh, Day seems like he has a thin skin. Schiano would never act like a buffoon like that. Day hasn’t done crap in his career other than inherit a well oiled machine and not screw it up yet.

Imagine winning a game like that and the first thing you choose to do is cry about something an 86 year old man said on live television.
Is NCAAF becoming pro wrestling with heels? Day going after 86 year Holtz. WSU Coach going after Lee Corso?

Why would I stop? Day just totally proved Holtz wrong. His buckeyes were tougher than Holtz’s fighting Irish.

What the hell is wrong with you?

It is obvious Day used Holtz' comments to fire up the troops.

And if Lou's team had been "disrespected" by some former coach back when he was at ND, you know damned well he also would have harped on that fact to his team every minute until kickoff.

Where Day went overboard was bringing it up in public. I think he is feeling the heat from crazy Buckeye fans that say HE is too soft and too scheme happy. He is trying to be more like Woody or Meyer.

But as a wise man once said, if you have to keep informing the world of how tough you are, you probably aren't very tough.

you needed a last second play againt 10 men to win. Holtz said osu lines were soft, they were! ND out hustled, out worked, and outplayed OSU for the most part and won both lines.

you're retarded or didn't watch the game

Day is an absolute joke who won't win anything big at OSU. I'm not a Greg fan but Greg would never embarrass himself or the school like Day did because he's too much class

well he's screwing it up imho as he can't win anything big with all that talent well oiled machine. He barely beat ND last night and won't beat Mich or psu

Haha you think I'm an Ohio State fan, yet you call me "the retard"?

Ohio State had more yards (366-351), more points, you know actually WON the game (for the second year in a row over ND) and did it on the road no less, so all that crap about being outplayed, outhustled blah blah blah means about as little as your knowledge of football.

For that old windbag Holtz, rooting for a team that has done absolutely NOTHING in the last 35 years, to criticize a program that left Notre Dame in the dust back in 1989 is pure comedic gold.

If the marble-mouthed windbag can't take the heat, he shouldn't have said ridiculous sh*t about Day in the first place, but you are obviously too profoundly stupid (or worse, a Notre Dame fan) to see that.
