Selling T. I bought it looking for stability when I was heavy with high flyers, but since t I have built up a much stronger portfolio of stable, earnings driven companies, I now need more beta, especially if those high flyers want to get running again.

Looking at some of the spac names. STPK, THBR, maybe SNPR which has not yet joined in the recent car charger run. AI is another interesting one.

Gonna give this one some thought......like 2 or 3 minutes worth.

T’s ex-dividend date is in about a week. Not sure if you factored that into the equation or if it matters based on your long term strategy. Always a tough call.

Ya, saw that. 1.5%, I'd like to be up that much in whatever position I pick up.

HUGE Day for "value" tech. :)

And for cryptos. ETH a hair under $2k.
Very nice day. GOOG , MSFT and FB near new highs. AMZN still at about 3150 with at least 200 points to go. NVDA, CRM, PYPL, AAPL and AMD hopefully move up a little further. Earnings around 4/26-4/28.

Agreed on every stock, except perhaps PYPL (which is definitely overvalued based on traditional metrics). However, so is TSLA and some innovative leaders just perform better.

ADBE and NOW performing nicely as well.

I'm heavy into SOXX which is crushing it (semiconductor ETF).

my YOLO on GME puts cost me 3k. Lesson learned. Gave back 1/2 of the profit I made on actual shorts. Got too greedy. Good at for the market. Surprised TSLA didn’t catch the wave. Same for VW. My QS caught it nice.

I know I've asked about this before, but I guess there is a timeline on the puts when you buy it? IE you can't just keep holding until it comes down?

Speak slowly please.

Tom Lee predicting a face ripper rally.....in cyclicals, in the so called epicenter stocks, stay away from hyper growth.

Vix at 17.33 part of his bull case.

Just watched that CNBC clip on YT. He believes the R2K is going to stay hot since it includes a lot of those stocks.

I believe the likes of oil industry stocks such as REI, TELL, and DCP as well as regional banks..

B-Ice Breaker on Fast Money thought that the quick decline in volatility indicates there is still volatility in the market even though the Vix is low.

Found that interesting.

It’s a contract that lets you sell at the price on the contract before a certain date. In my case it was Apr 1st 135 strike.

That's pretty much what I figured.

Would it cost more to extend out that timeline?

I'm alway wondering about the reliability of these earnings/rev estimates.

But PDD, which at the moment does not make money, and is currently trading at $144 a share, is expected to earn $5.74 a share in 2022, $15 a share in 2023, and $30 in 2024.

With Rev's exploding right along with those earnings.

You do have the China consideration and everything that goes along with that, but in terms of mega growth stocks, this one looks like an absolute bargain.

You have the option to roll it at a cost. Never really consider it. Will just put on more shorts instead.
I warned you about those $800 calls for mid April. Now that guy may be dreaming, but still a possible indicator that this is not ready to dip any time soon.

Wasn’t that. I cashed out 4 contracts in the 30s and kept one for YOLO despite the theta value was working against me. Got greedy and got slaughtered on the 1 contract.

Agreed on the small-cap value stocks. My 2 main value funds:

PRSVX - T Rowe Small Cap Value
TRMCX - T Rowe Mid Cap Value

Are crushing it. Both funds capture their sector value and core segments and are up 14% and 16% YTD.

ETH hits $2k on the dot 15 mins ago. Time to break thru and establish a new plateau?

Up 50 bps in Q1. Somewhat expected given the 20% cash allocation and underperforming large cap tech stocks. My trading portfolio for the year was interesting. Jan. 133%, Feb. 7.21%, Mar -8.54%. That GME put contract really came back and bite me on the *** in March.

Entire retirement portfolio is up 2.53%. Roth IRAs are doing the best at 6.13% (which includes our energy play - XLE) and our T Rowe Price Rollover IRA is doing the worst at -2.39% (most tech heavy).

Not included in this calculation.....my crypto account is up 52%! LOL.

T2, I bought some BTC, ETH, and a bunch of Alt coins. Easy for ones that are available on Coinbase, Kraken etc. There’s a few ETH based alts (eg MIR) that I want to take positions in, but royal pain to buy. I have MEW set up with MM,Uniswap but I get big warnings when going to purchase since looks like these go through “ GeckoCoin”.

Could use to talk to someone. TK (or any crypto vets (-: ), would appreciate some help (like a quick conversation 😀). Thanks for any advice / help.
