As I’ve said ad nauseum, the US economy is a beast. Policy that actively works against it does not mean the sky is going to fall.Where are all the doomsdayers today?

Hahaha know nothings.Where are all the doomsdayers today?
probably out basking in the warmth of Bidens economyWhere are all the doomsdayers today?
No, we’re only allowed to talk about the positives of voluntarily charging ourselves more for stuff we need. Some people in a random town in Michigan just got the opportunity to work in a car plant at some point in the next 1-2 years, so please pat yourself on the back with that thought when you pay $5k more for your next car.
you dont think there will be another down day for the rest of the year?Where are all the doomsdayers today?
Rigetti is up as well.I've had LLY on my watchlist for a long time, but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Missed out on a few good dips. The only two pharma/HC stocks I have in my custom basket are:
- VRTX, which I really think is an emerging monster
- ISRG, currently in a buyable dip, down from a high of $616
Believe it or not Mr. American jobs, people in the US have jobs that rely on things to be sold at the retail level.Yea, ****** lead paint Chinese child labor made dolls. Can’t live without them!
McDonald's is being shunned? The world is better for it.
I’d be more concerned if Apple and Microsoft were being shunned in a meaningful way.McDonald's is being shunned? The world is better for it.
Thanks Biden? I don’t care who gets the credit as long as I’m in the green. Still in the red this year.Where are all the doomsdayers today?![]()
If that theory is correct, then get ready for worse when American manufacturing fully returns.McDonald's poor sales blamed on worsening economy. Maybe it has to do more with prices increasing in order to pay fast food workers 20$/hour
don't you?you dont think there will be another down day for the rest of the year?
Yup more US manufacturing jobs > big macs eaten in Paris and Toronto.McDonald's is being shunned? The world is better for it.
All my quantum computing stocks were up big todayRigetti is up as well.
SOOOO, you are unhappy that people like my wife, son and I aren't buying that crap anymore? MAYBE people have woken up to how bad that garbage is to eat.
We’ve held BRKB since the late ‘90s. Every year we talk about getting out there for the shareholder event but still haven’t gotten there…maybe next year.BRK-B at ATH today. Annual meeting tomorrow: broadcast starts 8:30 am on CNBC. A "must watch" for investors.
Was out of the loop today due to work. What happened with RDDT? Ended the day down 4%.Ripping
A burger at McDonalds is close to 10 bucks. I can go to the local pub for lunch for $12 bucks and get a burger 100 times better and I do. I'm sure I'm not the only one. McDonald's simply priced themselves out of the fast and cheap market. It's US sales have plummeted especially in California. So, no this is not some worldwide protest against America/Trump like McDonald's wants you to think. They're not going to take the fall for their screw up of being greedy. If that theory is correct, then get ready for worse when American manufacturing fully returns.
I don’t agree with that though, I think it’s a result of a lot of really unpopular global policies being implemented and citizens elsewhere are taking it out on a brand that is a hallmark of the “ugly American” stereotype, and also a brand that is pretty easy to live without.
In California here. I’ve uttered the words “I’m not paying $40 for McDonald’s” more than a few times. No problem doing it for Chick-fil-A, habit or something similarA burger at McDonalds is close to 10 bucks. Being in Cali, your *** better be eating In-N-Out!In California here. I’ve uttered the words “I’m not paying $40 for McDonald’s” more than a few times. No problem doing it for Chick-fil-A, habit or something similar
I was thinking of what I DoorDash kids and in-n-out doesn’t allow such things. But yes if I’m eating fast food that’s itBeing in Cali, your *** better be eating In-N-Out!
4 ? lol..they've been in decline since late 2022 because of their 141% price increase..not 41% ,....141%Charles Payne annoyed at McDonald’s coverage
They have had 4 straight bad quarters.
You can disagree and "think" all you want but the REALITY is McDonald's same store sales have been in decline for quite some time and an average annual price increase of 31% (141% since end of 2019 / 4.5 years) has a hell of a lot more to do with it than "unpopular global policies".If that theory is correct, then get ready for worse when American manufacturing fully returns.

Was in a bind and had to grab McD’s a few months back. Its was awful, I mean AWFUL. and for the price point I vowed never again, would rather skip dinner and eat a massive breakfast in the same situation. Not how you grow sales.SOOOO, you are unhappy that people like my wife, son and I aren't buying that crap anymore? MAYBE people have woken up to how bad that garbage is to eat.
