Investors probably coming back from vacations and enjoying summer to see their accounts at ATHs and want to take money off the table?Nasdaq getting hammered again today….not sure why the sudden drastic drop?
No real reason other than perhaps waiting for Powell's comments on Friday. The Daq was at a screaming ATH. It's natural to rotate some of these gains to other sectors. Just keep an eye on your watch list to see if you can pick-up stuff on the cheap (or add to existing positions).Nasdaq getting hammered again today….not sure why the sudden drastic drop?
Anticipation for Jackson Hole and less certainty around September rate cuts is my guessNasdaq getting hammered again today….not sure why the sudden drastic drop?
Not sure what triggered it, but valuations on many NASDAQ stocks were at ridiculous levels. Most are solid companies, but some more downside is possible. I’m not jumping on anything yet.Nasdaq getting hammered again today….not sure why the sudden drastic drop?
You can thank me now for the reverse jinx I put on the market today. As soon as I (also known as Chicken Little) posted, the market had a nice comeback. Not sure what triggered it, but valuations on many NASDAQ stocks were at ridiculous levels. You only post when the market is down. If you did so at other times, maybe you wouldn't be a reverse jinx? You can thank me now for the reverse jinx I put on the market today. As soon as I (also known as Chicken Little) posted, the market had a nice comeback.
We aren’t out of the woods yet. We may get a relief rally in growth stocks, but the concern is going lower. You can thank me now for the reverse jinx I put on the market today. As soon as I (also known as Chicken Little) posted, the market had a nice comeback.
I think we are going to need to go down to $130-140 range for PLTR. The Powell situation on Friday may be the catalyst for the correction.I'll be patient and hold for a while. The product seems solid.
@rurahrah000 - at what level would PLTR be a buy?![]()
I bought a little tiny bit last night in extended.I’m buying the dip. It’s crashing because they’re not ready to launch until October and they haven’t announced the WAC price yet so forecasts can’t be set.
Tonmya should be the next fibromyalgia blockbuster. It Reminds me of Celgene back when it was smaller. GLTAL
Mixed for the quarter, but double raise on guidance. Consumers remain strong.

Great timing. The Legend:
Chart looks like it might be ready for a short term pop.Anyone have thoughts on Bitfarms (BITF) as a spec play?
I wonder how different the Large Cap Income one will be from GRNY now?
Same thing I'm wondering. This is from the article; The SMID Granny ETF is straightforward, but wonder what the income ETF will be like.
Huge report from MDB.Went from slightly red early to solidly green to end regular trading then had MDB pop big on earnings.
Big money planting seeds in healthcare.FYI - Druck has bought 16 million shares in TEVA over the past year. Interesting play.
Huge report from MDB.
The Man:
I think this is a revert to the mean play. Modest growth, but TEVA was crushed due to its debt and past acquisitions. I think the company is finally cleaning up its balance sheet.Big money planting seeds in healthcare.
Looking at TEVA's chart, showing signs of promise on the one year, looks pretty good on the 5 year, terrible on the all time chart.
Not much growth there, but cheap. 1.5x price to sales. 10x price to cash flow. PFE, which is also very cheap, by comparison is 2.2x and 7.8x respectively. LLY at 13x and 28x.
No Div though for Teva. Almost 7% for PFE.
Pure Storage up big as well (in the semi-ecosystem). Good thought on DIS."Sales of the company's new Blackwell line of graphics processing units -- its most powerful chips yet -- increased by 17% compared with the previous quarter, a sign that "demand is extraordinary," Chief Executive Jensen Huang said. The company named Disney, Hitachi, Hyundai Motor and SAP as among its first customers for one of its Blackwell-edition servers."
Makes me want to buy Disney.
