No way more has been censored than ever before. That’s what makes it so much better now.
I suspect X will just become an AI data licensing play for Elon. He’ll make lemonade out of that lemon he bought. I’ve thought about buying Reddit based on the GenAI LLM opportunity. I just haven’t done enough homework yet to commit.

According to X’s own information, it is more censored than prior to Musk taking over. And the censoring is by government request. Search the EV thread for my posts and Twitter or X and you’ll find a post I made linking the information. I’m too lazy to look it up for you and I kinda think you probably aren’t interested in the facts and are gonna stick to your feelings about it anyway.

The great news is X is quite possibly the best source of porn in the internet now. 😀

What? We all the revenue is way down. Why would anyone think the value hasn’t change or being up?
I would love to see the contracts for all the investors in that Fortune link I posted earlier in the thread. Be interesting to see how things are structured insofar as going public, see who gets what in what priority.

Yeah that's probably true. I prob check X every couple of days but always notice one or two soft porn posts (that if you click on reveal much harder stuff).

Kind of like Tesla, value would be detached from any form of reality. Look at what DWAC did in the early days. I’d assume a similar cult-like response

IMO, Tesla Is in a very different situation than X. X seems more likely to wind up in a Truth Social situation. Initially up, then tanking and either never recovering, or taking a long time.

My point exactly. Truth social = DWAC, as I mentioned. The initial up is where the money would be made.

Truth Social still has a crazy high valuation. Im on my phone so i can’t check but its probably 1000x revs ot something stupid like that.

Difference with X though is the Musk cult already has a ton on money in tesla. May not be enough to keep X at a crazy valuation.

Since the rate cut in September, the stock market really shot up. 1/3 of my profits occurred since the rate decrease last month. Sold some today back to 72% in the stock market.

Truth Social is just a leveraged bet on Trump's possible 2nd term. It has nothing to do with the company or investing.

Financials looking solid. Been deep in the red on SOFI for two years - now up 10% and looking to exit soon. Hoping GS pays off tomorrow morning…

Trimmed some Sofi today. I have to look at their recent earnings but no one on the street likes the stock.

Been watching MS which looks to be breaking out of a 4 base.

SOFI announced a huge loan deal with Fortress. If the banks continue to roll this week my gut tells me SOFI goes higher. The financials look primed to pop even more than they have last few days.

Good call. We are coming up against some resistance.

Chinese stocks are up against resistance at current levels and may stall out here, but I think they will start heading higher at some point.

Even if the sugar high burns off, the new stimulus is still very positive for Chinese stocks.

Tons of earnings this morning.
Goldman, Citi, BoA, Schwab, and J&J looking good. Even Walgreen's with the double beat.
United a little light on guidance, but they are normally conservative with reports.

UNH down fairly big. Pulling the DJI with it

Still at a good level though. Maybe ill add a little as a trading position.

IIRC 550 area was the top end of the previous trading range and it broke out above that so one the way back that could be a place of support. Didn’t sound like 2025 outlook was good

UNH is notorious for sandbagging guidance, so I have no idea why investors are getting fooled again (likely).

MS nails earnings. Up another 3.5%. The one year chart now looks perfect. The long term chart looks great too breaking out past highs from 2021.

Not especially cheap for a bank at 18x earnings and 2x books. I guess the market is looking to the IPO and M&A markets finally getting going? But the stock looks great.

So the robots at the Tesla event may have been radio controlled? Not autonomous?

That's uh, I dunno, fraudlike?

PRU like MS, breaking out past long term resistance.

A stock I bought early off the Covid lows. Not an epic NVDA like performer, but 140% off the initial buys(I did add along the way) and pays a pretty fat dividend, currently 4%.

Not fraud 'cause they mentioned it. But typical Tesla deceptiveness in marketing/advertising leveraging people's tendency to ignore the "fine print".

Bob Pasani noted (around 11 AM) that while the S&P was up fairly modestly, that Advance-Decline was 4-1. Yesterday when the S&P was down advance decline was 3-2.

The RUT leading the indexes today as well up 1.6%

So the broadening continues.
