Will never forget the wind game at Rutgers stadium. RU 24 Saracuse 7. Their coach was mumbling on at the press conference about the wind. Was entertaining.
Since that game in 2003, Rutgers record again Syracuse is 8-3. No wonder they hate us. I think the hatred should be going down since that was 20 years ago and how many fans remember Syracuse as a winning program? Fans maybe in their 80-90 years old.

I love when their fans say they won the game because they gain more yards than Rutgers but didn’t score more points. Their fans are reality deniers, always making excuses. Cuse fans are dreamers still living in the 1950’s when Syracuse was good at football.

Caught some of the game against VT. We’d destroy them in every phase of the game. They were slow, short, and chubby. Their lines looked like 1AA types. We’d run for 500 on them. Our inclusion into the major league has really ruined them.

They are a women’s lacrosse school.

I'd give Babers an OC interview.
When he had minimal talent - he put up points.
His offense put up 25ppg the first 4 years.
Including 38ppg (#11) in year 3.

Match with a HC coach who can recruit and get him talent.

The ACC is terrible. VTech coach made the wrong choice going with Wells to start the year. I think they would’ve beaten Purdue with him in there. He gives them a run game which they Otherwise did not have.

True. The entire league outside of FSU and and a serviceable Clemson, UNC and Duke are trash.

League full of milquetoast with some real stinkers like the fruits thrown in. Acc, Cal, Stanford and SMU are all desperate parties who found each other in hopes of getting lucky.

It’s no shock why FSU is bolting. The only question is what happens with UNC at this point.

How did Alijah Clark play? Lol, talk about a regrettable transfer....

Drones transferred in from Baylor (there 2021 and 2022). Three star recruit with a very solid offer list.

Wells transferred into VT a year earlier from Marshall, where he had a solid year in 2021 (3532 passing yards), but his TD/INT ratio was 16/13. Last year at tech, he had a 9/9 TD/INT ratio. His completion percentage at Marshall in 2021 was 66.3%, but that fell to 53.2% this year.

Baylor went with Blake Shapen over Drones, and he has been fairly reliable, and Baylor has 400 passing yards/game, but Baylor is near the bottom of the Big 12 in points/game. In Big 12 games, they score only 22 points/game, where top teams are at 35 points per game.

Interesting, UCF leads Big 12 in 500 passing yards/game, but they are 0-4 in conference. 🤷‍♂️

SadExCuse had zero yards rushing ... that is hard to do. I hope they keep Dino, they were made for each other

Isn’t that the game where on of their players jumped in the stands threatening to beat up a 12 year old fan?

No that was a recent game where we beat them, and they started chirping about gaining more yards than us or something like that.

The Rich Scanlon game was back in 2003 I believe, where Mr. RoidBoy went into the stands.

Clark is having a good year. #13 in tackles in ACC. Forget his story, and not worried or caring about why/how he left. He's in the Tundra now, which is enough punishment for anyone.
I didn't see the game but recall that fellow Jersey Cuse DBs Bellamy (previously Notre Dame) and Gould (USC?) transferred in there as well while Camden's Duce Chestnut left Cuse for LSU where he is now cryptically listed as "inactive" on their roster but still on a scholarship.

I feel like that game was the turning point of Schiano 1.0

The real turning point was the 2005 game at Syracuse, which was Mike Teel's first start. We whooped 'em. All the Cuse fans left in the 3rd, the guy behind me patted me on the back on his way out and said, "Enjoy it, this is your day. You guys earned this."

That encounter is the only thing that elevates the Syracuse fan base to anything above "swamp lizard".

My recollection was it was the same game. We’ve beaten them so much since then it’s hard to keep track.

We should make them come to us every year as our homecoming game.

I think the "but we had more yards!" game was 2021 up there.
