Clark is having a good year. #13 in tackles in ACC. Forget his story, and not worried or caring about why/how he left. He's in the Tundra now, which is enough punishment for anyone.
Did he follow his high school boyfriend who later transferred to LSU?

We don’t obsess over Syracuse . Syracuse obsesses over Rutgers. Maybe in a bowl game someday.

Wonder what this 12 year old is up to now. If he was able to mentally demolish a D1 football player before hitting puberty, he really must be up to great things in life.
I was in that section. The whole family was crazy. I’m not sure if it was the uncle or dad but they were yelling at everyone on their way out.

I mean - they are getting their asses kicked by a team in their conference (Va Tech)....thus what makes their RU-obsession bubble up in THAT MOMENT?

I get it.

You see.. New Jersey is their territory. When they were good they recruited here at will.

We stole Brian Leonard and Ray Rice.. probably because we did illegal, sneaky, unethical things... you know how dirty all Rutgers coaches are.

But I expect the nastiest Cuse fans are Jersey-born... and more born closer to Rutgers than Syracuse.

What happens when Boeheim's legacy is not enough to keep Syracuse basketball "good enough" for their fans? I'm sure it will be cause that dirty SOB Coach Pike at that filthy Rutgers is stealing their recruits.

Caught some of the game against VT. We’d destroy them in every phase of the game. They were slow, short, and chubby. Their lines looked like 1AA types. We’d run for 500 on them. Our inclusion into the major league has really ruined them.

They are a women’s lacrosse school.
Oh that's it. Thanks Cali because I could never figure it out. They don't field a baseball team, they don't field a wrestling team but they seem to believe that they are a D1 powerhouse. Calling them a mid-major is a compliment.

They really hate Schiano because he, quite brazenly I might add, specifically called them out as to who he was going to start beating. For recruits and on the field. When he first came in, they were still relevant. They recruited NJ well. They were winning games.

I've never seen a coach call out a specific university like that but Schiano did. It really at them up, especially when we started beating them.

Now that we are in the big league and they are struggling to remain viable with no real hope given their ****** recruiting grounds, terrible location, and a dying conference, well, they have gone completely off the deep end. Schiano said he was going to eat their lunch, and he wound up tearing their heart out then eating it.

Honestly, I'd be bitter too if I were them. They have a lot of reason to be.

all true and loved when he did that. He showed moxie and spirit and then followed through on it. I remember when their idiot coach said he'd show Rutgers who owns the NE and proceeded to get butt pumped by our boys, was glorious!

GRob lol! Didn't he come out cringey shadow boxing lol? Then he got curb stomped.

I'd liked to see more of that from Schiano. He usually doesn't give up anything and it was very out of character for him to specifically call them out. But he did. Then he did what he said he was going to do.

Really burned their fanbase up, which they've obviously never recovered from. Make them our homecoming game I say. Give them a chance for redemption.

yeah, that's who it was

you gotta read their current board, it's full of delusional self interest and views that inconsistent with reality. Not too far off with our own 'RU not receiving votes' but their delusion is far deeper and troubling. They truly believe they are deserving of a tier 1 invite when all hell breaks loose

I don't know, I really loved those uniforms. Also, was that the horn I heard in the 2012 video? When did we start using that thing?

Babers seems like a really good guy, but he has had 2 overall winning seasons, and one winning ACC record in 8 years, and he will not achieve that, being 0-4 in ACC play in 2023. One may wonder if 2018 was on the back of QB Dungey. Babers had 2 good years at Bowling Green, but one might wonder if he was riding HC Clawson's (now at Wake Forest) success there? Syracuse and BC are indeed tough places to coach at.

Paul Pasqualoni was the last overall winning coach, and he left in 2004.

In the 2000's Syracuse has had winning records in only 4 regular seasons:
2001 (Pasqualoni), 2010, 2012 (Marrone), and 2018 (Babers).

All hell already broke loose. They were never a consideration and won’t be moving forward. There are a lot less seats at the table and far bigger properties than they are. If we are being honest, they are somewhere around 10 just in the Acc schools alone on who a real conference would want. SEC isn’t going to take them and neither wil the B1G.

Their best bet is to sync up with UConn and BC and get the old Yankee conference for football and put their hoops in the Big East. Best they can do at this point after the Acc implodes.
