He’s clearly not a leader. That’s all I needed to see. A train wreck will be kind with what happens there

Time will tell. Fran seems like a good guy. I can't root for Syracuse, but Fran came up the hard way, and I could root for him to succeed and leave that dumpster fire quickly.
The interview was not bad. Standard new coach speak.

Syracuse hired a position coach as head coach, only 1 out of 500 teams would do that. They’re a reason why they don’t do that. Why didn’t they go with an inexperienced QB for next year?

Watching syracuse in this game is making me wonder how that team ever won 6 games. I know their ooc sucks bit can the acc really be this bad.

“We’re here to compete in everything we do”. That’s great. Yet it seems some of the transfers you brought in didn’t want to stay and compete for jobs at their previous schools. But now they’ll “compete” when there’s mediocre talent vying with them for playing time. Got it.

Is it too late for their incoming portal players to re-enter the portal and transfer back put without penalty.

SU often does good out of the September gate and often puts together a nice string of wins.
Then somebody beats them - usually Clemson - and they fall apart

Watching Elijah Clark talking to McCord on the sideline tells you everything you need to know about the status of that program. It is not in good shape.

The McCords selfishly wanted the path of least resistance (guaranteed starter), an easy schedule (maybe the easiest in power 5 next year) and a place to pad his passing stats to showcase himself for the NFL. Time will tell…
