Just read through again. How has no one listed Barney Miller?
Hawaii 5.0 was already mentioned, and should have ended the thread.
But another theme song from that era I always listen to is from the old Bill Cosby Show (1969-71). Its not that great of a song, im just trying to figure out was Cosby is saying ("Hikky Burr, Hikky Burr")
It was written by Cosby and Quincy Jones. As far as I can tell, it pretty much ended Quincy Jones' career. (**, if needed)

I actually watched a few of the old Fall Guy shows after that movie came out last year. It was so BAD! The song was great, but it doesn't hold up because of all the contemporary references. The movie used it in the closing credits but they had to change the words because people today would not know any of the names.
