Hadad whacks the knee of there best player in the hallway outside the locker room pregame.

We need to win the offensive rebounding category. The home crowd will energize our players to really fight for all the loose balls.

It looks like Wheeler and C J Frederickson will miss our game due to injury so that will help. We will win because we keep Tshiebwe off the boards and we shoot extremely well from the FT line tonight.
It is very difficult for teams to score in the paint on us. We force opponents to shoot the 3. UK shoots it a 36.6% clip on the season. UT shot it at 41% and 57% vs us. Florida at 41%. Bama shot it at 18% and 37% vs us, games we could have won. The key will be to hold them at there average % or less. I expect them to take between 25 and 30 shots from downtown.
it really does come down to defense, if they have open shots they will win. also depends on their bench and rotating in and out to stay fresh. we have to play d even on their bench guys because as we all know, one of those guys could drop 25 on someone, it happens. you just cannot have one of their 2nd string guards get hot from outside, that will be the difference.
The officials call a fair game instead of favoring UK by 15 points and fouling out our players. One year when we went to UK for a game many years ago 4 of our 5 starters fouled out. I don't remember a single player from UK fouling out of that game. They won by a small margin.
