Honest question - How will they do that if their Navy is destroyed? Proxies?
According CBS's US mil sources, Iran's plan seems to be to use small boats that can only carry 2-3 mines at a time.

Edit: CNN now reporting the same/similar (their language was that Iran had already begun laying mines). According to their sources Iran has 80%-90% of their small boats left.

at least use legit sites if you are going to post info. This is a known troll account that uses AI generated content. I'd fact check some of the things you just throw into this thread. Lots of incorrect information on X...don't believe everything you read. They have a ton of fake accounts all over that just post stuff to get people worked up. Been doing it since at least the Ukraine stuff started. Just google them...you'll see that they spread misinformation and have changed their name multiple times...

And they do fundraisers and I bet people actually give to them

the account is an aggregator, but according to Elon's AI bot the interview itself and the translation of the real BBC reporter are both legit. i do see other ******** AI videos on this particular feed and don't doubt their overall nature, but the account also has lots of legit info that it's algorithm is spitting onto the feed.

If the Brit’s civilian fleet could save Dunkirk why not the Persians at the SOH.
Consider me mildly intrigued…

Well, Biden avoided starting wars so the opportunity for dignified transfer decreases.

Regardless, here he is at one:
Biden is also a military dad who purposely ended all of his public speeches with "May God bless America, and may God protect our troops."

The idea of someone who supports Capt Bone Spurs who mocked POWs casting aspersions on a man like Joe Biden is sickening but not surprising to say the least. Irony has been dead in this country for a long time.

You are a disgusting excuse of a human being. Please KYS.
Gentlemen and the few ladies on board. To paraphrase the great Vizini -This person has fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - not even the slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line" but the more base one: "Do not attack the messenger, attack the message!"

This is a great example of how to get this thread moved, shut down, or locked. We are now 36 pages into this epic. Let us not ruin it through petty behavior, petulant posts, or nude selfies. None of those will contribute to the overall mission, of regime change, strategic advantage, or a portal qb.

I don't post my nudes here because I wouldn't want to make any of you guys feel more inadequate than you already do. I'm a good person like that.

btw our military has now concluded that we actually hit the school in Iran. many of our esteemed posters who mockingly told us it was friendly fire from a failed Iranian missile launch will no doubt be shocked to find out it was in fact us all along.

Pretty hard to expect a ceasefire anytime soon. Especially with the updates regarding SOH. Any aggression there may increase chances of other countries getting involved.

This thread over the last 2 weeks is 80% updates / discussion and 20% chuds whining that the updates and discussion are “leftists ruining the thread” because the updates and discussion are not generally favorable to their preformed conclusions.
Meh 20% has been one poster stuck on the same strike on the first day. Keep it moving, war isn’t static and mistakes happen.

One could only hope that the real strategy was not to threaten Iran but to threaten free trade through the SOH. If one wants to brings others to the fight, threaten profit margins and currency values.

Novel concept or simple economics 🤷‍♂️

Well it sounds like it just happened again today
Dude thinks America carrying out what would constitute one of the worst war crimes in the Middle East in decades and then watching our president both blame Iran nonsensically (which many of his supporters fell for including in this thread while getting suckered by disinformation which is a whole other concerning notion) and then feign ignorance isn't newsworthy. Any other country in the world operated like this, these same people would be calling them third world shitholes and acting like we should blow their leadership off the map.

Our brain trust admin breathed further life into the initial mistake with their ludicrous amateur hour responses. That's the reality of the situation. Sometimes reality hurts these people's feelings. Shvt happens is a wild response from the PrOTecT GiRLs crowd when a whole school worth of girls is murdered en masse.

The U.N. human rights office, without saying who it believed was responsible for the strike, called on Tuesday for an investigation.

"The onus is on the forces that carried out the attack to investigate it," U.N. human rights office spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani told a press briefing in Geneva.

Images of the girls' funeral on Tuesday were shown on Iranian state television. Their small coffins were draped with Iranian flags and passed from a truck across a large crowd towards the grave site.
Deliberately attacking a school or hospital or any other civilian structure would likely be a war crime under international humanitarian law.

If a U.S. role were to be confirmed, the strike would rank among the worst cases of civilian casualties in decades of U.S. conflicts in the Middle East.

My bet is that it’s because we don’t appear to be very good at thinking more than half a step ahead

Or SK doesn’t have the need they once did because they have their own new and very capable system that they started mass producing in 1H25. Transporting some to the UAE as we speak. They have several other buyers in various stages of procurement, as well.

Just want to put my Hiker marker here at Page 36 to let those ahead of me know I'm still reading when I can. FANTSTIC convos up in the Joint right now. Love it. I'm still reading on 19, plan on doing some late night reviews to catch up. Keep it coming. Also, Cluster Bombs are bad. Even this guy can't defend those flying pipe bomb distributors
