Is it me or does Gary look overrated? Just turned it on right st the start of the 3rd quarter but doesn't look very impressive. Either that or not giving much effort out there.

Plus BC, SJR and PC all gave them a good game. This is why we need the North Jersey parochial kids. We are not afraid to play anyone.

Not afraid or had no choice because the publics won't play them?

You can't watch these big guys play to play and rate them. Even in the conference he plays he's used to dominating while taking plays off. He is rated based on potential. Did you notice how jacked he looked? Did you notice he's as lean as a LB? He has what nobody can teach...a once in a lifetime frame with athleticism to boot. His greatness will be determined by his desire to buy in at the next level.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to here a PC kid transfers to IMG now that they've played them. I hate PC more than any other parochial.
Shouldn't be as bad without CP and his antics at the helm. I'd imagine they will drop back to reality and join schools like DP and Joe's in the always struggling to stay alive category.
I'm a pro parochial guy but I hate this national schedule crap.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Refs are on IMG staff. Not a PC fan, but seemed like everytime they had a big play, a flag came out.

Both. However more related to the publics won't play them. I think you and I agree on a lot being parochial guys. That being said I do like playing the out of state powers. IMG is a different story but shows how we compare to the other powers in the country.

PC is pretty loaded on the underclass levels. The biggest hope that they fall back is that this guy can't coach for shite.

My take on Gary is split. VKJ is obviously correct. The kid has every physical tool. However, when exactly is he going to play a complete game when his team needs him? Bosco has handled him. He made a few plays last night, but they handled him. Dave Tollentino of SPP destroyed him in the championship game last year. If you're not going to bring it in a championship game, when exactly are you going to turn the switch on? This is now evidence that two different coaches can't get him motivated to play every play. Maybe Harbaugh or Saban or Miles can. Maybe they can't.

SPP's first game is in Ireland next season. hahaha. IRELAND. When I was a junior we played MIddletown South on the road and left the morning of the game on a yellow school bus.

Gary flashes his athletic skills, but if you watched that game last night he took plays off and quits on pursuit too often for me, not sure how he is #1

He's #1 because they don't put a lot of weight on game film. They put much more weight on him beating guys 1 on 1 in skin tight tshirts in the summer. He's 6'4" and 265 of muscle. He's explosive and has heavy hands. Dline is a priority position. It adds up.

I agree he has potential. However SJR completely took him out of the game last year (27-0) SJR win when PC was undefeated. I just have never seen him dominate the way he should. Maybe he will the rest of the way since all games matter from here on. Plus PC appears to be peaking despite last nights loss.

IMG has existed for a few decades. It was the original Bolliteri Tennis Academy--Andre Agassi and Jennifer Capriati are among the many tennis alums. It expanded to golf and baseball. Now it's a full blown factory.

Exactly. And nobody cried about the place then. It's only since they started giving the same advanced training to football and basketball players that all of a sudden folks got up in arms about it. I find that curious.

An interesting note about IMG academy, they are not allowed to have any Florida kids on their team.
