This job and program will continue to be downhill until the AD leaves or learns to allow a HC to lead instead of wanting yes men to controll. It's already hard enough. I knew they where going down when I heard the JV program got cut.

That’s over 3.5 months. So you are looking at over 6k. Plus you do get paid for the weight room. So with years experience you can make over $10k as a head coach in WSFC.

How can a Head Football coaching job be listed as a part-time job? A whopping $1716.00 (Embarrassing)
Veteran assistants make much more than that in lots of counties and cities. They are basically advertising for a retired coach.

Good luck to the person that gets this job. The Mustangs struggled mightily in 2022 and I don't see how this changes anytime soon with the idiotic open enrollment in Forsyth Co. Parkland will continue to get hammered by E. Forsyth, W. Forsyth, Tabor, Reagan and Davie Co. A real shame to see what has happened to a program that was a real state power in the late 90s and early 2000s when DeAngelo Bell was the head coach.

I know one of the guys interviewing. If hired he will bring stability and some calm to the program.

That is a good first step. But it still doesn't solve the open enrollment problem and the Mustangs having to go up against teams with much more talent, depth and bigger numbers in their conference.
