Can’t wait to add Paul and Jacob next year, and I’d love to add a big banger.

Paul Mulcahy Signs with Rutgers Basketball

"He's a very talented kid," Gill St. Bernard's head coach Mergin Sina said. "He has a very high basketball IQ, one of the best, if not the best, of anyone I've ever coached. He's simply a winner, he's all about wins for the team. He can play multiple positions, especially comfortable at point guard. With his size, I think he can help Rutgers out tremendously."

Nice addition for next year. Interesting that the article did not mention Jacob Young at all. I think he will play some at PG as well.

This is huge. We have now added first team All State Ron Harper in 2018 and first team All State Paul Mulcahy in 2019. Pikiell and our entire staff are getting it done. I have seen Paul play 7 or 8 times over the last two years. He is really good and is a team player who has a lot of confidence. I know a lot of schools tried to poach him but he is one guy who wanted to stay home and play for the State University. Thank you Paul.

I'm very excited about Mulcahy. He's going to be an important piece to this team going forward as Pike moves us into a position to get us back to the NCAA's. Welcome to the banks Paul M.

Welcome Paul, You Will immediately make this whole unselfish team better and Geo will explode with your presence and point guard skills. Dare I say you could be the best point guard here since Eddie Jordan , who I know you only probably know him as our coach that did not have too much success as a head coach but go check out old footage and you will see how great he was as a point guard. We also love that you are a Jersey guy. You immediately will be a fan favorite and I am looking forward to Rutgers going dancing with you at the helm.

It will be interesting to see what we do on D next year. I could see Geo and Young covering the opposing PG with Mulcahy on a 2/3, at least while he gets used to the speed. Lots of guards... either we platoon and play intense or some guys are going to not like their minutes... lol

Saw the video of his signing. Sounds like a great kid . Loved his comment that he thinks he's a better person than player. He has his head on straight and priorities for life....

I agree. From what I have heard he is going to have some trouble guarding PGs. I see him playing point forward and covering a 2 or 3 especially against elite quick PGs
