I'm reffing all morning/early afternoon on Saturday. So to ensure that this thread is there before the dual starts, I'm setting it up the night before.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the 2026 PSU - Rutgers dual.

When:
January 10, 4:00 pm EST

Where:
Rec Hall, State College, PA

TV:
the match will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network

Video Streaming:
Subscribers of the BTN can watch a stream of the TV coverage on their computer, or on their phone via the Fox Sports App

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 3:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 4:00 pm EST. You can access the audio stream at:

gopsusports.com

Lion Vision

gopsusports.com

gopsusports.com

Once there, scroll down, find Wrestling: Rutgers, and press the arrow in the button to the left of that text.

PBP:
PBP is a bit of a mystery, in part because I didn't check with @SlipperyPete or @GregPickel in advance. I've missed more duals than is the norm for me this season. Depending on how the reffing goes, I might be available for PBP. Hopefully, between the three of us, we'll have the PBP covered. That said, we always encourage others to participate, and post thoughts about things that happen in the dual. And as always, a reminder that if you are doing PBP, please post the score of the match, as well as the team score of the dual, at the end of each match.

What I heard was Santoro met with Crookham father and basically said it's my way or my way.

Let's GO!!!! I can't watch today, but I'll be here listening to Ironhead. I expect a slugfest from Rutgers and a blow-out from PSU.

Just so everyone remembers, you get a free one hour preview of the BIGN with the Fox sports app and if you have to remove then reinstall the app since it's not working correctly say at intermission, your free hour starts over.

On the Penn State Sports Network, Jeff Byers says Lenny Pinto "is just not going" today, per Rutgers. Unclear if he even made the trip, but instead of a top 10 bout, Levi Haines will face Jordan Chapman.
