Marcus is amazing, controls the center of the mat, never gives ground. Pretty good for a FREAK
They’ll rank Knox at 30 and move Blaze back to 11.Analysis will show Knox was over ranked
Rocco is going to have issues finishing on Ferrari
he should have gone stitches LOLConsiglio received 10 stitches in his lip after the NDSU dual so he’s been ruled out, unfortunately.
I don't have flo so I can only listen but by the sounds of it: Nate Desmond beat a dead fish by major Dec?

There's gotta be an easier way to duck Desmond.Consiglio received 10 stitches in his lip after the NDSU dual so he’s been ruled out, unfortunately.
If you think Ryan is running Davino out there 3 weeks before seeding you are crazyLong way to go, but looking forward to Blaze vs Davino. Should be a good one.
Not overally unusual for kids who are dominant early on there feet to add stronger mat skills as the get older and more experienced.Question for those who know better than I: Mitch has made a decision to wrestle more on top and look for turns. To me, that seems like a tough change in philosophy at any time, let alone being a returning champ. Is this as unusual as I think?
Or he has the ability, just never chose to use it.Question for those who know better than I: Mitch has made a decision to wrestle more on top and look for turns. To me, that seems like a tough change in philosophy at any time, let alone being a returning champ. Is this as unusual as I think?
You sound like a very slippery rascal. Well done.

Taking Cael's advice, strive to improve a little every day.Question for those who know better than I: Mitch has made a decision to wrestle more on top and look for turns. don't know the guy with Cael, was hoping someone here might.Who are these guys?
If I remember correctly, Dave Taylor did the same thing. He was a takedown artist his first two years and then became a pinner. It was like he avoided pins early on in order to work on his mat skills.Question for those who know better than I: Mitch has made a decision to wrestle more on top and look for turns. I agree with your gut. Maybe not as important now with the 3 pt takedown, but a valuable tool to have in the box. Top wrestling/riding came in handy for Nolf when he wanted or needed it. The Michigan training-through match Nolf’s Soph or Jr year when Pantaleo took him down twice and had choice going into the 3rd down one and takes bottom. Nolf rides him out and wins by 2. Then when his knee was injured he techs Jordan in the NCAA semis. 16-0 with two 2 pt takedowns and the other 14 with turnsInteresting question!
Can't say I know more than you, but my gut said he always had it in him, and it's probably an easier shift for returning champs than for others.
Nearly all NCAA champs win on feet. Few also score from top in the semis or finals (beyond RT point or OT rideouts) -- Zain, Jason, Ruth, Spencer, Stieber, not many more.
If you're already the best on feet, then the biggest differentiator becomes scoring from top. (Obviously without sacrificing your advantage on feet.)
Offhand, RBY also became much more of a top scorer after his first title. So there is precedent.
This.
I was a well below average wrestler in high school. But one of the things the sport left me with was a real affinity for sports where the competitor — win or lose - has to lay it all out and is just spent at the end of the day. Wrestling, rowing, cycling, anything on cross country skis.
To do that, as a group, successfully, for this long…just wow.
Chapeau!!

A madcap preview of the first NCAA final between freshmen?Long way to go, but looking forward to Blaze vs Davino. Should be a good one.
Possibly even the best pure wrestler in the country, period. I don't think Cael was joking about Marcus being (aka motivated and will become) the greatest wrestler ever. The Blaze v Knox match was crazy yesterday. Total domination over a very high level wrestler culminating in a fall. Knox couldn’t even ride him at all. Blaze is the best wrestler in the country at 133. This is why we make fun of the Flo rankings. Everyone already knew how good Blaze was, but they refuse to show it in the rankings.
They are slipping.88-0 for the day. Is that good?
