This is the biggest commitment for the 2010 class by far. He chose MSU over Alabama and is the number 1 player in the state of Alabama. He is a pitcher that touches mid 90's. Hopefully, the draft won't gt him.
I've heard several mentions that Kaleb has grade issues, which is strange because he goes to prep. Hard to believe someone would fork out that kind of tuition for a HS education and allow the kid to bring home crappy grades.AshleySchaffer said:I wish Cohen would go ahead and round out our class by offering Kaleb Barlow from Jackson Prep.

8Dog said:one of the great myths in high school sports is that Prep recruits. In fact, prep lost one of its best linemen this year to Mad Cent'l. MC is becoming a problem for the local academies b/c of the exposure you get in now-6A football. See Peyton Johnson, Chaz Ramsey, and Will Martin.
Prep's grading scale is ridiculous. 95-100 is an A.
Who do you think is the top player in Ala? I thought he was but I defer to your superior baseball knowledge. I do know Norris is a pretty good QB also.Todd4State said:but I don't think he is the top player.
