Just checked the BCS rankings. How in the hell does a computer that ranks FSU #4 play a role in deciding who plays for the national championship? That's 17ed up. In my ideal world, I still say we need an 8-team playoff. Champions of the 5 major conferences, the highest ranked champion of a mid-major, and 2 at large teams. Assuming the favorites win next week, we'd have:
Dec. 20-21:
#14 Northern Illinois at #1 FSU
#5 Mizzou / #8 South Carolina at #2 Ohio St.
#7 Stanford at #3 Auburn
#6 Oklahoma St. at #4 Alabama
Jan 1:
NIU/FSU vs Oklahoma St./Bama
Mizzou/USC/Ohio St. vs Stanford/Auburn
Jan. 11:
Championship Game
