I thought the catfighting was ridiculous 6 hours ago when I first looked at this thread. Can't believe it's still going. Politics and religion, baby!

At the end of the day you failed miserably and did nothing but wasted your time with your silly NCAA tournament research. Murphy actually does things for Rutgers sports to make it better $$$$$. Get a job and a therapist spending all day everyday on this board is not living life. Criticism of this Governor is silly after everything he has done for our athletic teams. 95% lol.

Actually i did quite well on the matrix

And i didnt post one thing about Murphy here

I said kenpom isnt used

Hobbs interview he said we need to increase revenues by a lot

Let’s start with making Murphy pay Rutgers for his front row court side seats

Real life > sports but like I said a few times already, his tweet is good.

His authoritarian mandates against the people of NJ and his lies were sickening

What real life? You live in Florida where you are likely slowey drinking yourself to death with all the bòoze drinking talk you've referenced on these boards. Unmarried, no kids and yet you are worried about Murphy's supposed policies on pre-pubescent sex ed talk......hmmmmm. makes us wonder what your true "feelings" are. What was that saying about those who cry the loudest?

No, they aren't and trump is garbage. Desantis is the one who can lead this country.

They're showing them sexual scenes depicting masturbation. I would say that's far worse. Because I'm a normal, intelligent human being.

"Fifth graders learn about romantic and sexual feelings, masturbation, mood swings, and the timing of puberty"

"eighth graders should know the definitions of vaginal, oral, and anal sex"

Anyone supporting this might as well be a pedofile. How about we let kids grow up on their own and use the usual sex Ed when it's age appropriate? But hey! Murphy gave Rutgers money so nothing else matters and anyone that says otherwise is in a cult.
Sometimes I wanna go on television and let loose,
But I can’t but it’s ok for Tom Green to hump a dead moose,
‘My bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips’,
And that’s the message we deliver to little kids,
And expect them to not know what a woman’s clitoris is,
OF COURSE they’re gonna know what INTERCOURSE is by the time the hit 4th grade,
they’ve got the discovery channel dont they?
We ain’t nothing but mammals,
Well some of us cannibals who cut people open like cantaloupes,
But if we can hump dead animals and anelopes and there’s a reason why a man and another man can’t elope,
But if you feel like I feel I’ve got the antidote,
Woman wave your pantyhose!

It probably wasn't reported on the network of your cult, but Murphy also passed a budget with over 100M for RU academics.

But you don't seem much on academics,

The part that you failed to notice is that he cut school funding to dozens of municipalities in NJ, which will cost taxpayers millions more. You still watching Chris Cuomo? Must be nice renting a Hovnanian condo in Milltown..

Our school funds were cut considerably and now the taxpayers will have to take a hit yet again. Taxes in NJ are already the highest in country. Oh joy.

As an RU graduate, supporter and season ticket holder, I like Murphy’s strong support for RU, as well as his visibility at games. As a NJ resident and taxpayer, I cringe at the way he has plowed through his wind farm agenda, despite the outcry of NJ residents, mayors (on both sides of the aisle), and petitions to slow down the process until further studies can be done as to the damaging effects on wildlife and the environment. In this case, my concerns as a NJ resident outweigh my endorsement of him as an RU supporter.

My taxes haven't gone up since two 400lbers were removed from office.

Oh and I own a condo in a doorman building, not in Milltown though.

I guess Gov Murphy supporting NJ's only high major program is triggering.

But he's supported community colleges as well, so South Orange Community alums should feel welcome.

Essentially you're confessing to being the kid who was signed out of sex ed by mom and dad.

I didn't grow up in a progressive area and no one in my class was. Sad.

dollars to donuts most on the committee that screwed us are dems so his voice probably embarrasses them a bit

Definitely bro.

When people think about NC State, Univ of Nevada, Providence and Arizona State they're definitely thinking of big time lefties lol.

RU would easily rank in the top 10 of any listing of most liberal schools in a p5 conference. Maybe even top 5.

Which makes the boomer ranting on these boards particularly epic.

He sees Rutgers as the economic, research and job creating powerhouse that it is. Holloway has also made this point well. Lots of great stuff happening. Just wish all of this was in place during my time.

I think you're a little, not much, older than me, but it's always so cool to see the improvements all around campus anytime I'm back.

You can all see improvements all over the state, all over Hudson County, New Brunswick, Asbury, Morristown, EWR, even Newark itself. NJ is a cool place at the moment, RU too, it's great to be part of it.

When I was an undergrad, they had just started the Rt 18 extension and the whole Devco thing in downtown NB.

Agreed. I’ve traveled all over the country and really don’t want to live anywhere else. Sure it’s not the cheapest place to live, but it’s worth it.

Yep...they finished 18 into Busch when I was in school.

There's places with bottle service in NB now. Absolutely wild! And very cool.

I understand people being concerned with high taxes and waste, but the environmental/wildlife concerns over windmills are grossly overstated - you're listening to too many people who hate the aesthetics of windmills ruining their view.

There are literally people whining under Murphy's post about RU being snubbed about windmills. As well as his posts about Holi....and Purim...

"Muh windmills" is the local NJ version of "butter emails"...they just keep playing the same pair of twos over and over and then wonder why they don't win.

Same time at RU and 1000% agreed. I'm still back in NB a lot, for fun - restaurants and bars and RU games and I'm in Pway a fair amount for some volunteering work I continue to do with my old chem eng'g dept/students and the games, of course.

For FB, I would park in the med school lot and walk over. So many new buildings. Gives me a lot of pride in the school to think of the quality of education we’re sending kids out into the world with.

At least Proud moved to Florida (Panhandle) so he can’t become a burden to New Jersey taxpayers. I’ll give him credit for that.

It is very strange that you can’t make a comment that you don’t agree with murphy and right away you get attacked. Most are saying yes glad he came out defending RU and supports them. Great , ok but many have real life issues that are more pressing that murphy does not have a handle on @nd there are lots of unhappy , concerned tax payers in this state. They have right to express those concerns without being attacked.

Concerned about the budget surplus? The property tax relief? Their own little hometowns that set the property tax? What is the concern, other than the dude has a "D" in front of his name? Still crying about COVID restrictions 3 years later? Is it the fact he did NOT impose further restrictions once the vax was out...unlike in NYC and CA?

It happens on both sides and its dumb these days. 95% of people do not have a solid grasp on political issues, yet take such a personal stance and tie it so much to their self-identities it's a bit unhealthy. It's also humorous, since the bulk of R's were literal neocons 15 years ago, but now rage against "globalists" and embrace some type of white welfare grievance thing. While on the other side, you've got people who claimed the objective intellectual high-ground and were the peace-nicks 15 years ago, now openly embracing subjective nonsense, fake news, anti-intellectualism, flat out communism, non-tolerance, and war.

It's 95% BS fueled by marketing and people wanting to belong to some cultural grouping. Give it a rest in general. The dude tweeted about the basketball team. I'm not sure the Mendham, West Long Branch, and Somerset suburbanite contelingent on this board is so overwhelmed with personal hardship that they cannot afford to expend any anguished emotional energy on liking a tweet without having to first put forth a qualifier. It's the same with the types who have to say "hate his politics" every time someone posts or references a Springsteen song these days.

Spare us all the melodrama will ya?

🙄
