A person can’t make comments or suggestions about the current situation someone is in , whether it be state or federal , without someone like you coming all in dismissing our concerns , blasting whatever party you think we are part of and name calling . People like you need to chill out and allow others toConcerned about the budget surplus? The property tax relief? Their own little hometowns that set the property tax? What is the concern, other than the dude has a "D" in front of his name? Still crying about COVID restrictions 3 years later? Is it the fact he did NOT impose further restrictions once the vax was out...unlike in NYC and CA?
It happens on both sides and its dumb these days. 95% of people do not have a solid grasp on political issues, yet take such a personal stance and tie it so much to their self-identities it's a bit unhealthy. It's also humorous, since the bulk of R's were literal neocons 15 years ago, but now rage against "globalists" and embrace some type of white welfare grievance thing. While on the other side, you've got people who claimed the objective intellectual high-ground and were the peace-nicks 15 years ago, now openly embracing subjective nonsense, fake news, anti-intellectualism, flat out communism, non-tolerance, and war.
It's 95% BS fueled by marketing and people wanting to belong to some cultural grouping. Give it a rest in general. The dude tweeted about the basketball team. I'm not sure the Mendham, West Long Branch, and Somerset suburbanite contelingent on this board is so overwhelmed with personal hardship that they cannot afford to expend any anguished emotional energy on liking a tweet without having to first put forth a qualifier. It's the same with the types who have to say "hate his politics" every time someone posts or references a Springsteen song these days.

Not sure what happened at Stanford, but I think any school that makes students pay 40k + a year for a gender studies degree should be investigated.
The vast majority of undergraduate students at Stanford go to school for free. They take care of those that get in.
I could show you a half dozen articles that say otherwise. In the end, if we’re talking about one of NJs most valuable resources, there should be more certainty. Part of the issue is what’s being done, but the other part is how he’s doing it (executive orders, and stripping coastal communities of their rights).
What a kid majors in is none of our concern. As long as they work hard find jobs after graduation and add something to society.
That’s all nice and dandy, but these degrees aren’t helping anyone be successful after graduation from a fiscal perspective.

If you want, I’ll gather and forward, but what you, me, and all citizens should be just as concerned about, is how this is being handled. Laws that gave towns rights are being abolished by our governor. He is basically telling them that they will have no say as to what happens on their properties. Projects of this magnitude deserve due diligence, with all parties being heard. Not railroaded through, with any opposition being squelched.
That's a very different argument and a potentially fair one, but I haven't read much about the potential property issues - I was only commenting on the largely faux environmental issues being used to try to delay/cancel the windmill projects.
