Majority of 27 leaving are not hurting the team like your troll *** believes. Only 4 were players that produced from last year and those 4 left before spring drills. Obviously the only thing wrong is your observation and your lack of intelligence. Biggest portion of those transferring would never see the field at WVU some of those leaving are RS seniors and would be graduating this season under normal circumstances. See Covid year as reason they are not. A lot of these players are dead beats from Holgorsen years. Starting in April of this year, the NCAA decided to allow all players a free transfer once in their college career and like all things in life, the first time around is a free-for-all with a large number of players exercising their right to transfer. West Virginia has been hit extensively with 27 players as of Thursday morning (December 9) entering their name into the portal. With 24 of the 27 on Scholarship . COVID may be playing into this. (trolls will now begin to spit, scream and fling name insults like 12 year olds). A player like Isaiah Esdale would have graduated this year as a redshirt senior but with the extra year of eligibility, Esdale is allowed one more year to play football in college, if that is what he wants to do. Brown took over in January 2019 which led to a standard coaching change roster turnover. In the spring of 2020 (which troll bucky claims they were run off but anyone with a brain knows he is full of ****), COVID hit and many players chose to not transfer as the entire year was different than it had ever been. The numbers you are seeing this year could entirely be because of the pandemic and a restructuring of the process. If those numbers are still high next year, you likely need to look at this on a different level, stop blaming COVID and see what other factors are causing this. The portal has been around since October 15, 2018, and the new calendar cycle within the portal begins each August. For example, the 2021-22 cycle started August 1. The transfer portal can be a great thing one day and the worst thing ever invented the very next day. Now more than ever, players are hitting the transfer portal and doing so very early in their career. During the 2020-21 cycle, 2,626 FBS football players entered the transfer portal, including walk-ons. Many of the ones transferring would have been graduating this year, are walk-ons or just plain not that good and were recruited by previous staff. The one thing the transfer is doing is hurting depth and that can be filled with some of the other 2,000 plus transfers shitting themselves praying somebody looks at them. If 27 happen next year then you can start screaming about problems and other ********. Until then STFU. majority of story from SBNATION.
