That's actually pretty impressive. I mean you'd think at a certain point she had to be chasing with purpose.

Forgive me. Couldn't help myself.

RIP Sheep

What are the penalties for sheepslaughter? Should be the same penalty as manslaughter after killing 38 people and injuring 12, if there is any justice.

True, but I am gonna be waaaaarm this winter.
See. This is what I keep trying to tell people.

Sheep are cute and cuddly when young. They are sexy, unselfish lovers when they're older. And they only live about 10-12 years meaning there's no 10-year itch issues. And in the end, they provide both food and warmth.

Really, they're the perfect partners.

What?

They were somebody's sheep. So other than the DWI charges, she's probably going to get sued for the cost of the sheep. And, you know, any pain and suffering.

That's pretty much sheep slavery. Why can people own animals but not people? Why can people kill animals without any harsh penalty but not people? That is so prejudiced. 100yrs+ ago the feeling was probably the same careless regard for human slavery.

Speaking of killing animals, I tried to kill a bug tonight. This is a long story; you might not want to read it.

Anyway, normally I don't kill bugs. But this bug was competing with me for food. I mean, I'm mostly a nice guy, and I like to share. But I admit I can sometimes turn a little mean when something gets between me and my food.

I was in my kitchen reaching for tomato in a bowl on my kitchen counter and this bug scurried out across the counter towards me, stopped, looked up and gave me the evil eye. Well, evil eyes, actually.

Now, I'm not real happy to be seeing a bug in my kitchen. So I grabbed a paper towel and tried to trap the bug so I can pick it up and crush it without getting bug goo all over my granite counter top. But it kept escaping, the quick little fvcker. It would scurry away, turn around, scurry back and position itself between me and the tomato and give me the evil eyes again.

I'm not gonna lie. I was more than a little creeped out by this behavior. This was a first for me. A bug with absolutely no fear of humans. I didn't know if I should crush it with a magazine or give it a name and keep it for a pet.

In the end, after a little bit more back and forth with this ballsy bug, it became pretty clear to me that the bug wanted the tomato way more than I did. I mean, this bug was totally willing to die for the tomato. I didn't even know bugs liked tomatoes.

So I ordered takeout instead.

I know, right? I mean, I once accidentally asphyxiated two sheep, not at the same time, during a drunken night of debauchery in Scotland. But 38? With a car?

I wonder if she was singing "I'm a pinball wizard" at the time?

Dude, that brings back Al Bundy's line in Wayne's World. The thing about "the difference between killing a man in war vs heat of passion". Once again, I really don't think I want to know. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I hope you ordered enough for the bug, otherwise PETA is gonna want a word with you.

No, but I did order for the one kid currently home. So I'm okay with DYFS at least.

The bug has the tomato. Unless it shares with the one trillion other bugs living under my house, it should be fine. And it really didn't seem to be in the mood to share.

Due to the recent attention, Flood just emailed a professor that he won't be wearing his wool coat to the next meeting.
