I know the folks at Eat Jackson and can promise you they are great people. They have done nothing but promote Jackson(and surrounding area) restaurants while supporting local charities. $10,000 to The Mustard Seed sure wasn't fraudulent.

Sure is easy to anonymously come on a sports message board and flame a business with no worries of repercussions.

DS, I don`t get this thread. What would be the problem with simply identifying the ownwer of Eat Jackson. I know a little about them and think they do a good service and are nice people.

Apparently, the poster that finds Eat Jackson offensive is married to the owner of Eat Jackson's ex-wife. So, maybe that's the reason for his disdain.

I think you're reading ds backwards. The poster is the one who 17ed the owner of Eat Jackson's wife. This guy is a huge idiot. You can be sued for slander for message board posts and what he posted is exactly the kind of posts that created that precedent.

** - I have actual knowlege of whether the poster 17ed anyone's wife. DS just said that he married the owner of Eat Jackson's ex-wife.

The funniest thing about this is all the guy did was make himself look like a douchebag and the EatJackson owner look like the good guy. It would be hilarious if he wound up getting himself sued for slander.
